I thought I was the only one not happy with Lola, I was so excited to try the tampons and the pads til I actually used them. I usually forget I’m on my period but not the last 2 months. The applicator was horrible the piece you push it in with would fall off if you pulled on it to hard. The pads were even worse :( I woke up having to change my pad when I can normal sleep through the night no problem. I have light to regular periods and I was bleeding through regulars within 2 or 3 hrs and the supers were so uncomfortable. Talk about cramps I never had cramps like this before I work on my feet all day so to have cramps so bad I don’t want to walk doesn’t help. I hope the reviews help them become a stronger company but personally I’d rather stay with what I know from the store.

I try to be an environmentally conscious feminist. I don’t usually order products I see in online ads, but Lola tampons looked right up my ally! When I went to place my order the only 2 options I had were to receive a box of tampons every month or every 2 months. There was no one time purchase option! I thought that if I put in a purchase they couldn’t just take money out of my account & send me another box without my permission. I thought that when they asked me if I wanted another box I could just cancel my account. Boy was I wrong. The tampons come. I’m excited, maybe I will keep my subscription, tampons delivered to my door every month, living the dream! I try the tampons & the plastic applicator doesn’t work. The tip of the tampon sticks out the top but is still lodged in the plastic applicator & not comfortably stopping up my vagina, which is the whole point. So I have to pull the cotton out of the applicator & use my fingers to shove the dry tampon up my vagina. We’ve all been there, but it’s not fun. What’s the point of littering our oceans with plastic beach whistles if the stupid applicator doesn’t work to smoothly transition the dry cotton into my vagina? Oh well, I never have to order from Lola again, I think I’ve washed my hands of them. But lo! Two months later, another box of unexpected Lola tampons. I panicked, I check my account. They charged me for the second box without my consent. I try to find a phone number to call to get reimbursed for this extortion. No phone numbers anywhere! I send a scathing email. I get a phone number back, but no reimbursement. I call the phone number, no answer. I canceled the subscription myself, but would like to warn women not to order from them in the first place. They are thieves. They don’t care about women’s health. They don’t care about the environment. This is not women helping women. This is women getting charged exorbitant amounts for crappy tampons.

I like their product, but after creating a subscription I can no longer access my account, I have emailed them three times with no response and no luck. Now I have an excess of tampons and I keep having to pay for them every other month. Horrible customer service.

I should’ve read the comments before subscribing. I subscribed to lola because it was a better alternative to avoid cramps, with store bought tampons I get a lot of cramps. Lola said it would help reduce, which I it did, if that’s would you’re looking for go ahead and subscribe. The applicator is crap. It’s so cheap and it doesn’t work for anything. You have to push way to hard and even hurt yourself sometimes to just get it in. Then when you think it’s “in” the take the applicator back out and the tampon gets stuck to it and moves down which then makes it uncomfortable to sit or even walk. I don’t recommend at all, there aren’t enough in a box, especially for women like me who have a long period cycle. Don’t recommend at all.

I thought I’d give Lola a try. The pads are horrible. They don’t even stick to your underwear and they bunch up. Save your money and buy your pads and tampons at the store. This company is a rip off.

Very disappointed. Some of the tampons absorbed normally, but others wouldn’t fully absorb on one side and would cause horrible leaks instead. The applicator rarely fully injects the tampon. You usually need two hands to put the tampon in and then the positioning ends up being weird and irritating until you take it out. Stopped subscribing months ago and I am still so disappointed and trying to use up the ones that came in the 1 month that I subscribed to. Love the idea of organic cotton tampons, as well as the monthly delivery system. Just wish the product was better.

This is my first time trying the Lola brand tampons. I hesitated to spend SO much, but decided to try it out since they use the more natural products. I got a combination of sizes and none of them have absorbed well, or are even comparable to other brands. In fact, I’ve almost gone through an entire box in 24hrs, which is completely unacceptable for the claims they make and my usual flow. One of the plastic applicators even malfunctioned and did not push the tampon all the way out. I’m just glad I have already canceled my subscription so I don’t flush any more money down the toilet...

These are honestly terrible. They lack absorbency, everything just kind of sits on the outside or top of the tampon. I am glad there are companies offering organic products but I am terribly sorry I paid double for tampons that make me feel very insecure. I am coming here because this company does not offer you your money back or offer to return any unused boxes if you are dissatisfied.
