About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

The New Normal
Was searching for a great mattress for my 3yr old who is transitioning into a full size bed. My preference was organic but had been unsuccessful with finding a reputable brand and reasonable price. So glad while searching a children's mattress review site I came across green mattress. I immediately made contact with them to find out more about their product. My daughter had her new mattress in about 3 days and my husband, daughter an I are all happy with the product. Even considering purchasing another mattress for our guest room. Thanks Green Mattress

queen size Natural Escape …
I purchased a queen size Natural Escape mattress, and it is wonderful. It is supportive without being too hard. The description of this mattress is spot on. The wool scent was pretty strong for a few days, but I had no way to air it out in the sun as is suggested. However, the smell has continued to dissipate and is barely noticeable 10 days later. The only problem I had was the bed started to open up when I attempted to remove the dirty packaging. If the packaging gets dirty in transit there is no way to remove it without risking the bed opening up.

Mattress definitely has odor
Mattress definitely has odor. Trying to air out. Smells like hay or barnyard.

Hi, Ann. Our mattresses can sometimes carry smells due to the natural materials being used. It should dissipate quickly over time if you're picking up on it, but if you're finding it offensive please contact us to discuss a return or exchange as you are covered by our 100 Night Sleep Trial!

Simple Sleep Latex 7"
I got the Simple Sleep Latex 7" for the firmness and I love it! It comes in a compressed roll, so I let it air out for a day before sleeping on it. I used to have low back and shoulder pain from my old mattress, which went away immediately after replacing it! So happy I chose My Green Mattress!

Natural Escape (2) Twin XL Mattresses
The mattresses are very solid and noticeably made of great quality and materials. A+++ service and products! We bought two Twin XL mattresses which arrived with some shipping damage due to FedEx mishandling and no fault of Mr Green Mattress. But we were able to work with their quality assurance department and get the issue resolved.
