WILL HURT YOU Do not trust this company. My previous card sold to Fortiva. I tried to close it before. Account not found. After it was sold to Fortiva, account not found online or when I called for months. Yet, they can report 5+ missed payments to HURT my credit. Still today. Account not found. They say it was sold again. I try the number they give me to call and guess what. Account not found. So now I'm hurt trying to get a mortgage and their support can't help me. No one can.

I have been with Fortiva since 2021. I recently had a major surgery, which was a little rougher on me than it should have been, but i digress... I had never been late on a payment. I just received a notification that my account has been closed. I am only, maybe, a month, maybe a month and a week behind. Either way, they closed my account the very first time I was a little late. Am cutting up the card and work on paying this card off and be done

Fortiva isca terrible credit lender. Months ago they arbitrarily lowered my limit from near 6000 to 1000 when i had been making all payments on timely basis and when my credit was no different thrn when i obtained their card. This hurt my credit score and was done with no prior discussion or proper notice. When i found out they did this i just paid off the entire balance and will NEVER use Fortiva again. Find other cc companies Fortiva is terrible.

These people are true scammers. I renewed my alarm contract and Fortiva was the company they used for the equipment loan. I wish they never had! I agreed to a price with my alarm company and when I called Fortiva to update my information, they started overcharging me more than what I agreed to on my contract. When I call them, they said they have a $15 “internal fee” or 2% of my minimum, whichever is higher, that’s automatically added to my minimum charge. I never agreed to that! That was not disclosed to me! They are scammers!

Opened two accounts with this company they closed one although I never missed a payment. I paid it off entirely. The second account they blocked it after I added it to Apple Pay. Like the first I have never missed a payment and every single month they add bogus fees auto enroll me in stuff I need to pay. It’s impossible to pay off the balance as it no matter how many money I add they add a fee to match it so it returns to zero. I’m not sure why despite the amount of reviews no one is looking into this company.

I current have a fortiva card and received an offer of another card with a 500.00 limit. I accepted the offer for emergencies only. I activated the card 2 days ago and see a 99.00 unauthorized charge. When I called them I was told that this was an annual fee and they refused to refund the charge. There was no fee for my original card. I feel like I was targeted as a senior citizen with limited resources. All information I got in the mail was written in such small font that I could not read other than the interest rate. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and want ALL seniors to be aware of the predatory practices of this company.
