Awful, judgmental, worst experience ever.

I had canceled my subscription and have a cancellation receipt. I got charged this month without consent over a month after. Don’t sign up with this company, they steal your money

I got a random text from this company from “Andy and Kristine” telling me about marriage counseling and how wonderful it was for them, and suggesting that I would probably love it too. Unfortunately my husband died two years ago. Such a horrible unsolicited text to receive. Do better when trying to get clients, My Counselor Online. Maybe try not to actually cause the trauma you are saying you can cure.

Very disappointed with my experience. Counselors definitely pick sides in couples counseling and bias is definitely present. We left our session with no hope and a proposed plan of 6-12 months of more therapy with them. In addition to this, the presence of the Holy Spirit was nowhere to be found. I came to this company hoping to get sound biblical advice for healing our marriage and I got nothing more than a feministic secular worldly approach that I could get through any budget counseling company. The two female counselors that I had were very unsympathetic towards men and their desire and need for physical intimacy/affection within a marriage. However, while at the same time they were sympathizing with a woman’s desire for emotional closeness/communication. Clear and unequivocal bias. The sum of their advice was, you won’t die without affection/physical intimacy, so, basically get over it until the time is right. This advice was perhaps the worse I could have expected from a secular counselor, not a Christian. Was a very uncomfortable environment and things would have been better if I had never used this company in the first place. I met with Allison and Karlee. If only I could go back in time! Huge mistake!

Fair counselor, horrible followup. Left us hanging at critical point in our relationship. No concern whatsoever to follow up with clients, even after I addressed this with staff. Would not recommend.

You have completely dropped me and couldn’t care less that you hung me out to dry! You canceled on me twice in a row and made NO effort whatsoever to replace my time. It’s truly sad how little you care about your clients!!!!

Well, I hardly got any time with my counselor because I spent majority of the time doing paperwork. My counselor said we couldn't fill it out after the appointment and I wasted a lot of money. The company did not give me 24 hour notice to fill the paperwork. They gave it to me the morning of (I was working all morning until afternoon). This is more of a reflection of the company and their policy rather than my counselor whom I hardly know. I only spent about 15 minutes with her so I have not much to say.

I feel like we wasted the $55 dollars . We both left more confused then when we went in with her . We came to her with our problems but she never addressed the issues. She just kept asking us how we felt about this or that over and over again and it had nothing to do with what we went in for . We had no homework assignment. Nothing was sent to our emails like a worksheet to do or anything like that . I’m not giving up on counseling but I just want a different person .
