I was so excited because Muukal has such cute frames. I’ve used my same prescription with several online prescription glasses companies and never had a problem. Every pair I got from Muukal either the RX was off or the pupillary distance was off. I couldn’t wear any of them. When I reached out about returning them I was told I would only receive a partial refund. So I paid for 3 pairs of glasses I cannot wear. Additionally the colors and size of the glasses does not match what you see online. I can understand a little variance, but these were huge differences. Order #: 22402033377

The whole prescription to my glasses are wrong

Glasses are cheap and not comfortable to see through. I have the same prescription from another glasses company and those glasses are great! Very disappointed

None of the 3 pairs I ordered had the same prescription! All 3 were different. I have not been able to wear any of them. I have warned EVERYONE I know to never use Muukal!!! Horrible experience! I have spent hundreds on multiple pairs on Zenni and got great glasses everytime! I was hoping that Muukal would be like this. I got totally ripped off and wasted the money I spent for their horribeverything -they could not get the prescription right! I had just gotten my new prescription. So, I thought maybe it was the prescription. So, then I went on Zenni and ordered a pair with the new prescription. They are perfect! Whatever you do, don't waste your money like I did on Muukal! The prescription is way off. I double checked and I gave them the correct prescription. They messed up! My loss. I'm glad I got this request to review them on Trustpilot so I can warn others and share how horrible my experience was!! I would give them minus 5 stars if I could!! *Update... I have had several email exchanges with a Muukal rep after I shared how horrible my glasses turned out. They emailed me after my bad review. *They wanted to know why I did not contact them before I left this accurate review. Fair enough for them to ask me this. I told them that I had gone and read reviews (after my bad glasses arrives) only to read that others had tried contacting them with the same complaints I have and got no answer! *So, I didn't brother. So, here's what I discovered. If you write an accurate and negative review, they email you to ask why you didn't contact them 1st. *I explained to them that after their bad glasses arrived, I sent my prescription to Zenni and got a pair that are perfect. *They emailed again and asked me to send a copy of my prescription. I sent screenshot shots of the one straight from their website I gave them AND screenshot directly from my eye Dr. *They wrote back and said, well they are the same. *Then they asked me to take photos of me wearing each if the 3 pairs I got from them and the ones from Zenni. *I did that and they emailed back and said that they were all as expected. I'll go copy the email and show you. *Then after getting the photos from me l, want me to take their glasses to my eye doctor and have them checked at my eye doctors! *** Copy and paste #1 from Muukal: Hello, we have received your negative review, but unfortunately, you have not provided feedback on your issue before. Can you please let us know the problem? We will try our best to solve it, thank you *** My response: The reason I did not check in with you is that I read reviews where you do not respond to complaints about how bad the glasses prescription is! Are you here to tell me that you will fix this? If you do and you send me glasses that are accurate, I will change my review. Otherwise, my review of how horrible the glasses you sent me stands! After receiving the glasses from you and being so disgusted with how I was scammed, I had to go order a pair with my new prescription (SAME ONE I SENT YOU) on Zenni. They have arrived and as usual are perfect. Do you intend to fix this for the horrible ones you sent me? Curiously waiting to here if you really do stand by your glasses company, *** There response: Please send us your original prescription first, thank you **so I did... There next response: Ok,got it,but the prescription is absolutely correct. Can you wear your old glasses and our company's glasses for photos separately? In this way, we can know some important information about your PD and wearing habits. Thank you again.(Please look straight ahead and take a photo) ** So I did that and got this response back: Okay, thank you for your feedback,referring to your old glasses, there is no problem with the size of our glasses. The prescription and frame size are correct, so we do not know what you have encountered. Perhaps you should go to a local optometrist to test our lenses. Thank you... I read numerous reviews of others that have had the same issue of the glass prescription not being correct. Save yourself a hundred or so $$bucks and skip getting ripped of my Muukal!!

UPDATE: I said I can't use them because they are so poorly made. I stillneed glasses but these don't cut it. Additionally, vendor offered me a refund on the sunglasses but I needed to REMOVE MY REVIEW first. I guess now we know why there are so many 5 star reviews. "Hello, we have received your negative review. We can offer a refund of $40 for the sunglasses. Although we have customized the lenses according to your needs, before that, we would appreciate it if you could delete the review first. Thank you. " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Don't order sunglasses - or any for that matter. I ordered sunglasses with a rose lens, it was barely rose tinted. OK. So, I wrote back to them and said I was unhappy. The offered to remake them and I ordered a second pair using B1 as my lens color - which looks like a dark blue online. Much to my disappointment, the second pair was still not nearly dark enough to be used as sunglasses. I get massive headaches from sunlight, and I've ordered prescription sunglasses online from other companies and NEVER had this issue. Was trying to save a bit of money; but ended up wasting it instead. I bought two other pairs, one for my workspace and the other for my purse as I often take them off and fail to put them back on, as part of the 3 for $119 and they had progressives that are just unusable as they are too narrow a field. I wish I could post a picture of what I got versus what is shown on their website as it relates to the sunglasses - but believe the old adage - you get what you pay for. In this case, they got my money and I got a lesson in "if it's too good to be true". Buyer beware.

I put my prescription in correctly but when my glasses came I could see a darn thing out of them. I have a progressive lense and it wasn’t placed correctly in the lense. 72.00 down the drain. I read the return policy and I am certain I cannot return them for a refund. I won’t be buying from you in the future sadly. I loved both frames I got too. I was very disappointed.

Prescription not right. Glassed bent. Email not responsive to original concerns.
