I have recorded two songs with Musiversal so far. What can I say? They are amazing. The opportunity to record my songs with first rate studio musicians is invaluable to me. I intend to continue recording a song a month. I highly recommend Musiversal to anybody considering using them.

Musiversal are amazing. Apart from being incredible musicians, they have all, without exception, been very professional, friendly, committed to helping us realise our vision for each song, and an absolute blast to work with. We are SO glad to have the chance to work with such amazing musicians.

What's not to like about having accomplished studio musicians at your disposal? I've been able to finish three projects that were on hold, that would have cost hundreds and finished all of them in a month with Musiversal, for the monthly price equivalent to cable. Go for it, you won't regret it.

I've been using Musiversal for more than a year now and it has been incredible. I've found the musicians to be amazingly talented, professional and easy to work with, transparent about what they need (almost all are amazing at improvising), and so efficient. In every one of our sessions (including drums, guitars, horns, and vocals) we've always received at least three different tracks to work with. The quality of the recordings is similar to what you'd get in a studio and they all know how to mic their instrument(s) (unless they are going direct, which a few of the guitar players do). If you are a singer/songwriter without a band, Musiversal will allow you to make your musical dreams come true - that's not an exaggeration. I've written songs for acoustic guitar that now have an entire band with live drums, horns, etc playing with me on my recordings. It's nothing short of remarkable - oh and the turn around time for getting your tracks back is usually less than an hour. To top is all off, you get access to a ten-time Latin Grammy Award winning mastering engineer (who also happens to be one of the nicest guys on the planet), included in the price of your subscription. I literally can't say enough great things about what they are doing to open up the session recording industry to folks who would otherwise never be able to access such quality musicians. Lastly, their customer service is outstanding.

I've recorded piano, cello, violin, vibraphone, and flugelhorn so far with my Musiversal subscription. As a film composer starting out, it's been both a great investment and a fantastic learning experience. The Musiversal support team has been super quick and friendly. Whether it was getting a buyout waiver sent to me (for film festivals) or providing a quote for custom sessions, or even helping me communicate with a musician whose power had gone out, they've gone above and beyond. The Musiversal musicians I've worked with so far have been a diverse and delightful bunch. Several of them even gave me repertoire recommendations and demonstrated special extended techniques I could use in my writing, making such sessions pedagogical in addition to practical. And of course their impeccable musicianship has helped bring my pieces to life every time. The platform is constantly being tweaked and improved in response to user feedback (I was amazed to see that barely more than a month after I'd mentioned on the Facebook group that it'd be nice to be able to view which files you'd uploaded, they had implemented that feature!). So while some aspects of the interface might be sometimes a little wonky, I'm confident that they'll handle it given time. A word of warning: don't expect the impossible. If you have a complex piece, it'll require a custom session (with rehearsal time). And if you write unidiomatically, it'll likely be frustrating for both you and the musician.
