I absolutely appreciate the platform, and I realize that I would never have the opportunities you provide (esp. pre-Napster’s decimating of the record industry’s A&R model). However, I’m convinced that I am owed money due to selections not being listen to after three months. also, one of my submissions has the designation of processing next to it. I have never seen this before and I need clarification on what is happening with my selection. I’m not sure of how to actually connect with you to receive an answer to my question. In the same vein, I would hope any answer I receive would not be generic considering paying for a diagnostic. If we have to pay us artists for an individual diagnostic to be thrown into the arena, something as unique as my situation that does not appear in the FAQ section should be able to be addressed individually. I completely understand you don’t want to deal with disgruntled artists, but genuine questions about your platform and how to deeper engage it would be nice.

Music Xray needs to do more to make sure the opportunities we submit to actually get seen. I have around ten submissions right now that are over a year old and have yet to be selected/not selected. I think all VIPs need to be thoroughly vetted and held to a high standard. Opportunities VIPs post as a paid submission opportunity should be vetted as well. Right now VIPs can post opportunities that may not even be real, just to make money..

I've got 7 songs on MusicXray. Submitting is a real challenge. Some of the producers give no feedback, they sell themselves as open, but their rejects give no viable feedback. Then the ones that do want to talk about going to the next level are not professional. It becomes another sales pitch. I think the website is well done and all. I know there would be rejection, but after the amount of money and time I've put into this I was hoping for something. I wanted to be further along, I have so many more songs in my head, I just don't feel the musicians or producers here are really here to work on a project. I don't think some of the know what they really want or maybe they don't have a wide vision. Maybe they have a clear vision, but its narrow. Then there's the ones that want to make me a super star? Yea, another sales pitch and a contact to follow that takes my rights away from my song. I just wanted to work with someone who could see the potential of us working together. Get something started, but maybe there's so much out there its over whelming. How could MusicXray be better? Not sure yet, the sites good, the pricing is good, its the quality of the producers that has been frustrating. The good feedback I get has been nice but that's all it is. I know, need to be patient as my producer has told me. He's right, I wish everyone the best. And I'm sure there are producers on MusicXray that are good, but finding them seems to be the challenge and then making that connection. Guess its tough like dating. Thank you all, Paul

Not completely satisfied with my involvement on Music Xray. Too often my pitches go unanswered or take an eternity to get a response. Also not happy having to pay an extra $10 every time I upload a song which basically gives me nothing....just a way of extracting extra money for Music Xray it would seem. For those reasons I don't use Music Xray as often as I used to preferring to use other sites that give me a better response and cost less per pitch.

The website is cool but I'd say about half of the music supervisors on here are inactive or wait at least 6-9 months to respond.

The song was selected, but nothing has happened. I received one comment, only to probe me on to investing more money to continue on. Hard to navigate through your system, but noticed that I must invest MORE money to your adventures I don't think I believe in you. Thanks for the lesson I've learned, I'm wiser now.

One of your producers liked my song which was positive but he wanted $850 to remix it which was opportunistic and went no further. Same song was accepted by a person who is going to broadcast it on a radio station. Again positive though asked if I wanted to pay for "advertising". I have also signed a deal for another song and guy has gone cool and not offering any encouragement. In fact I had to be positive to him as i made a Youtube video for it! Its good to get feedback though and thankfully not incurring too much expense.

I do not think that your service is looking for good songs, just good recordings.
