Murphy Industrial Products, Inc.Reviews of murphylift.com

I bought some chain cut into 3ft links and needed 4 locks to all be the same. I was told that non were available and supplier had no stock and so they could not supply me. I called the manufacturer of the locks myself and found out they did have plenty. Asked for another vendor in my area and was able to order the locks all keyed the same from them at a lower price than what was listed on your website.

Received the sling straps with them dirty and having a sticky substance on them. They just looked like they were used before. By dirty I don’t mean dusty, but black dirty marks like they have been used to lift or pull something before. No cuts or frays, so they will work for what I’m using them for. There was also some sticky black stuff on certain areas of the strap not all over, not sure what it is.

Products were exactly what I needed and seem to be made of good quality material. My Reason for the 3 star was because it took a month to get my order. The items I ordered should be the bread and butter of your company, I'm surprised it took so long to fulfill my order.

I got the item I ordered, but the wrong size. I believe I order a 3/8" item, but received a 5/16" item. I can use it, but it wasn't what I ordered. After reading my review, the company replied that they were sending me the correct size. I am acquainted with the owner and have been in their facility, and have had a previous experience with them where they immediately corrected their mistake. I have also had other experiences with the company where I have received exactly what I ordered in very quick fashion.

My order was filled accurately and shipped promptly. The products are top notch. However, in special instructions on the order, I specifically requested delivery by USPS to my PO box because, at the time I placed the order, the main road in our subdivision had been closed for weeks due to snow drifting. UPS and FedEx deliveries were impossible. After I got a shipping confirmation email from FedEx, I immediately contacted Murphy Industrial Products to ask why my order had been shipped by FedEx. The representative assured me that FedEx would transfer the shipment to the USPS for delivery. Wrong! That's not what happened. The FedEx delivery was made at our house a couple of days later. Luckily, our subdivision road had been opened up only late the previous day. My lesson here is that the Notes and special instructions section of an order is ignored by Murphy Industrial Products. By sheer luck, there was no harm done this time, but I'll be wary of placing an order with them again.

We had a prototype lifting device made. Quality of the product received was excellent. Sales person was not as responsive as I would have liked and was promised the lifting device on three separate occasions. Each time there were delays; in the end it took nearly 4 months from concept to delivery. We actually had provided a sample lifting device as well so "concept" was not new - just new to this company. We will order the device in the future; I'm just unhappy with being told it is shipping this week then not getting it three times.

First time ordering from Murphy Industrial Products, Inc. Our order was filled on time. After a very short phone call everything was straighten out and back on track. Paul McCormick, Program Manager

Response Time Murphy Industrial has provided us excellent service for several years, however, lately they seem to be taking longer to ship products out, as well as longer to provide us with quotes. If you tell your customer the order will ship the same day, make sure it ships the same day. If you tell them you'll have a quote to them 'shortly', do not assume 'shortly' is the following day. Still a great team to work with, and I'm confident they will get it turned around and back to their normal excellent service.
