The small 1.9% processing fee helps cover the cost of supporting credit cards as a payment method in the app. Mudflap's credit card fee is low because we continue to subsidize a significant portion of the processing cost for credit cards. The hold amount will go towards your purchase and the amount you didn’t spend is released immediately after you fuel. Your bank/card may take a few business days to show this in your account. If you'd like to avoid holds in the future, switching to a linked bank account as your payment method can help.
