Well organized , reliable , great guides, good food! . Thoroughly enjoyed our trips to kayaking Glacier Bay, Alaska and to the Galapagos Islands.

MT Sobek provided a wonderful family trip for us during the summer of 2019. We had booked with another company that went out of business without warning. Thankfully, our travel agent was able to rescue our long planned vacation by connecting us with the great folks at MT Sobek. They did a great job of taking over and making our trip a wonderful experience! We are very grateful for their gracious and professional way of doing things.

This was one of the most amazing trips I have taken with my family. It was so well planned out and every detail thought of. We would definitely use MT Sobek again.

My husband & I went on our first MTSobek trip in February 2020 and it was absolutely fabulous. Very well organized, knowledgeable and friendly guide (as were the additional local guides), great food (and wine!), perfect weather and the best “co-travelers” and first class accommodations. We had an amazing trip to Cape Town, Botswana and Zambia with MT Sobek. Our guides in Cape Town really knew their stuff, were so friendly and clearly they wanted us to have a great time. The two camps we stayed in the Okavango Delta were superb. The camps themselves were quite luxurious and the guides were incredibly smart and spoke excellent English. The guides could pick animals out of swaying grasses and rising dust....we saw and learned so much from them. Everyone at the camps wanted us to have a wonderful time; they went out of their way to make us happy. This was a trip of a lifetime.

Enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Galapagos with my wife and nephew. well organized; informative; relaxing; invigorating experience. seamless in every detail, staff cordial, meals excellent, Luis our coordinator/guide/instructor/leader, well versed a pleasure to have met him. truly a stress free vacation in a unique wonder of nature.

Our trip to Tasmania with Mt Sobek was like stepping into another time. Original growth forests. Towns so small they were not much more than encampments. The natural world was on grand display from Cradle mountain to wildlife we had never before seen and which are not found anywhere else. Our two guides led by Maddie were attentive to our every needed. The small group size enabled each of us to learn a lot about each other Nd the guides whose training and lif experiences were special. We had traveled many times before with Backroads and like them very much. My Sobek probed just as good Nd at a somewhat lower price point. We would definitely consider them again when we are blew to travel again.
