We stayed for 1 night at the Moxy hotel in Fountain bridge, Edinburgh and left very disappointed. When booking the hotel never said the carpark was under renovation! So we had to park at the local retail car park costing £30! There was no offer of discounted parking due to the inconvenience. We had to walk in the rain with our luggage for a mile! The bed was awful, barely slept a wink as the mattress was rock hard and the pillows lumpy. Also the room was cold. We stayed at the sister hotel Saturday and Sunday and it was perfect. How can Marriot go from one extreme to another! We checked out at 6.30am to get out!
