I was cheated out of $207. I paid for 3 service attempts and they only did two and forged the third when I demanded a refund. I called and they said they would refund me $50...its been a year and im still waiting. HORRIBLE COMPANY. SCAMMERS

I am a notary signing agent
I am a notary signing agent. I did a signing for them on May 13 and I have spoke with them multiple times because they still have not paid me for doing notary signings for them. I have spoke with their accounting department Farannah and she has multiply times lied to me, saying the money was sent. Then she even went to the extreme of saying somebody sent an email from my email with a different Cash App account. I had it ran through the computer and it was a lie she copied and pasted it into it. As of today, August 9, I still have not been paid for my services. They expect people to work for them for free, which is highly illegal. if you are a notary signing agent do not work with this company they will not pay you.

We appreciate all the signing agents who work with us and pay for every completed assignment. Our records show this payment was processed. We’re happy to share the confirmation details privately and work out any discrepancy. If you have any additional concerns, please reach out to [email protected].

My experience was extremely…
My experience was extremely disappointing. I encountered repeated delays, inaccurate Affidavits of Service that required corrections, poor communication, and unexpected fee issues. I also felt pressured to leave a positive review before receiving the completed affidavit. Because this involved a time-sensitive court matter, these mistakes created unnecessary stress. I recommend carefully reviewing all documents and confirming all terms in writing before using this company.

Hello Mohammed, we’re sorry to hear you didn’t have a pleasant experience. There may have been some confusion, as proof of service delivery requires at least 24 hours after completion, and your order had a turnaround time of less than 24 hours.
We value client feedback but we never withhold deliverables for reviews, as that is against our policy. If you have any additional concerns, please reach out to [email protected].

I would not recommend this company…
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
I hired this company to serve legal documents in a time-sensitive Supreme Court matter where accuracy was essential. Unfortunately, my experience was marked by repeated mistakes, delays, poor communication, and unnecessary stress.
I clearly explained that my case involved court deadlines and confirmed the details before hiring them. Despite this, I experienced confusion regarding scheduling and later had to spend considerable time following up to obtain my Affidavit of Service.
When I finally received the affidavit, it contained errors that required corrections, including inaccurate information. Court documents signed under penalty of perjury should be carefully reviewed for accuracy before being sent to clients.
The most concerning part of my experience was that I understood I was being asked to leave a positive review before receiving the company’s Affidavit of Service. I preserved a recording of that conversation because I found the request inappropriate. In my opinion, clients should never feel pressured to post favorable reviews in order to receive documents they have already paid for.
I also felt pressured to pay additional fees beyond what I originally agreed to, even though I believed the issues arose from the company’s own handling of my service request. That experience left me with the impression that customer service was not the priority.
Because this was an active court case, every delay and every error mattered. I had to carefully review the company’s work myself, identify mistakes, and request corrections to documents that should have been accurate from the outset.
If you choose to use this company, I strongly recommend that you:
* Confirm all pricing and services in writing before paying.
* Review every affidavit and court document carefully before filing.
* Keep records of all communications.
* Follow up promptly if promised documents are delayed.
This review reflects my personal experience with this company.

Hello Mohammed, we’re sorry to hear you didn’t have a pleasant experience. We always strive to provide the best service for our clients.
There may have been some confusion, as proof of service delivery requires at least 24 hours after completion, and your order had a turnaround time of less than 24 hours due to your same-day deadline, which we did our best to accommodate.
The additional fee (which was waived) was related to our agent’s request for wait time compensation after waiting over an hour for document handoff.
We value client feedback but never withhold deliverables for reviews, as that is against our policy. If you have any additional concerns, please reach out to [email protected].

Despicable excuses
This was for a Quit claim deed, they were to meet us at the hospital on 5/9 @ 4pm- get to the lobby and call
they called at 4 to say running late, 4:30 or 5- they called again and said 6pm. We waited until 8pm They no showed we left multiple messages never received a call back. I called Monday to have the charges reversed and was told they showed up and no one answered the door ? its a hospital, they were given 2 phone numbers they dialed neither. Horrid customer service still unresolved and the person needing the notary is now in Hospice

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially given the sensitive circumstances surrounding your appointment.
After reviewing the appointment, our records indicate that the notary did travel to the hospital and attempted to make contact upon arrival. However, it appears there was a communication issue that prevented a successful connection, and we recognize the impact this had on your experience. We are currently reviewing the details internally to better understand what occurred and to help prevent similar situations in the future.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you have any additional concerns, please reach out to [email protected].

The Opal Group has owed me money for a Notarization for 7 months now. After sending an invoice and trying to reach them I've had no response. I don't recommend doing any notary service for them.
7-1-26 The Opal Group has since paid me. The rep I spoke to was very apologetic and prompt in finally paying me.
Sorry for the late update.

She was very nice but there were issues
She was very nice, however she showed up without only one POA form to be signed. I printed the second one but was not given the originals of either copy. She called me the next day after I was already part way back to the state in which I live and offered to drop the originals off at my parents house. I need the originals to help care for my parents medical needs. She said she would send them by certified mail but that was over a week ago and I do not have them. She also didn’t notice that the ID’s she verified did not match the name on the POA forms and I may need to have the whole thing redone which will require another 7 hour commute to get there. Can someone call me about service please. I need to get these forms ASAP.
Response from The Opal GroupApr 16, 2026
Hi Karen, thank you for your feedback. We completely understand the importance of this matter to you and feel sorry that the outcome did not match your expectations.
Our team drafted the documents using the specific names provided via email, and we proceeded only after receiving your final approval of those drafts. While we verified the IDs at the signing to ensure the correct individuals were present, the discrepancy between the approved name on the form and the legal ID is likely why the forms were questioned.
We appreciate your feedback regarding our agent's logistics and will use it to improve our service protocols. Don’t hesitate to contact us at 323-310-0377 for any questions.
