I had a good experience with the Opal group my only issues were not being able to forward the large file initially and the time it took to set up for the invoice, it was more timely than the notarization.

******I am back again to edit my review for the 3rd time.****** My initial contact with The Opal Group was wonderful. The rep that I spoke to was Rech, and she was very friendly and communicative. I felt positive about the assignment given to me and completed it as directed. I billed via Stripe as instructed and waited for payment. The agreed upon terms were 7-10 business days but that came and went with no response. A reminder invoice was sent a few days later and again, nothing. I did get a text response saying they were escalating to accounting, but nothing after that. I came back here to TrustPilot yesterday to edit my initial review, and included a description of everything that transpired. While reading through comments here, I noticed that one comment stated to be sure to send Stripe Invoices to a particular email address. That email address did not match the address given to me in my assignment instructions. This morning, I was paid the full agreed upon amount. I also received a call from Ashar with The Opal Group who confirmed that the email address I was given was incorrect. He was friendly and apologetic and agreed that it was a mistake on their end. I would give them another opportunity in the future, if it is presented. A company who offers a personal apology goes a long way in my book and I understand that everyone makes mistakes, including myself. I am confident that moving forward, they will make sure to give the correct billing email to assigned Notaries.

I completed a job for the Opal group in July, for the most part everything went smoothly, except the timing. Apparently I completed this job during an update to their invoice system. Because of that, there was a delay in my payment, however, they did call and apologize and let me know that it was due to the transition. The man who called me today was very kind and apologetic, my only complaint is that it had not been communicated to me sooner. They did make right with me on my invoice and assured me that this would not be happening again. As soon as they were made aware that there was a problem, they did reach out and did their best to rectify the situation. Other than the invoice issue, it was a mostly positive Experience.

After having a poor experience with the Notary, the company eventually reimbursed my money in full. Thank you.
