1 star Move was in Euclid, Ohio My elderly mother was the customer, and I was there to make sure she was not taken advantage of. Timothy arrived 2 hours late, and the only reason we knew was because my mother called him. He then showed up with a U-Haul that was clearly too small for the job. When we questioned the truck size, Timothy became rude and insulting instead of professional. He asked me, “How long have you been moving?” and acted as though we were the problem. Earlier, he had told my mother he would come by and look at what needed to be moved, but he never did. If he had, he would have seen that her furniture was oversized and that a larger truck was needed. He also complained that he was supposed to be leaving town and seemed irritated that my mother had to reschedule because of an elevator conflict. That was not our fault, and if the timing no longer worked for him, he should have said so and rescheduled properly instead of showing up late and angry. The whole interaction was unprofessional. He bragged about his rating, dismissed the impact of a bad review, and blamed us for his attitude. We sent him away. My mother still lost her $120 booking fee, and we were charged $88 for the U-Haul, making this a $208 mistake. I have over 30 years of customer service experience, and this situation could have been handled respectfully and professionally. Instead, Timothy chose to argue and insult us. Original moving date was Thursday 5/14 – rescheduled 5/15. (Local Move) 2-bedrooms (one of the bedrooms had Bed the other is an office) Services used (Loading, Transportation and Unloading) Do not do business with this company. I would give 0 stars if that were an option.
