Nice product , bad experience
Unfortunately, I have to join the growing list of negative reviews. Aesthetically, the globe is undeniably beautiful and makes for a striking and interesting piece of decor. That being said, it relies on very basic technology (a magnet and calculator-style solar cells) that simply does not justify such an exorbitant price tag. My globe lasted almost three years before it suddenly started leaking fluid during a hot August. Once an air bubble formed at the top, it stopped rotating entirely. I contacted European customer support, and they offered me a replacement at 60% of the original price. However, on top of that, I was expected to pay VAT, shipping to my home, AND the cost of shipping the damaged globe back to Germany. The absurd part is that their "original price" is currently set at €258, while numerous online retailers sell the exact same item brand new for just €215. I asked if I could simply provide a detailed video proving the leak and malfunction to avoid the return shipping costs to Germany and make the replacement financially viable. They refused, insisting they must receive the old unit physically. Ultimately, I believe this is an inherently flawed and overly fragile product, backed by a greedy company with very little regard for customer care.
