Motivate MD is great! I loved working with the resident physician on my supplemental application and she helped me perfect it. It is affordable which I appreciate very well especially since the application itself can be very expensive. I paid for another review service this week and I am very excited to get started on the editing.

The editors are extremely helpful for my secondary and primary applications! I tried another well-known service once (hundreds of dollars for one essay) and honestly did not find any differences in quality between their edits and the edits of MotivateMD. Besides, MotivateMD always responded to emails quickly even during the busiest application periods. The only thing is that they only had one MD/PhD editor (who was amazing!) and could recruit more so there will be more options. Overall, I highly recommend it and I am so glad such affordable & high-quality service exists.

This was a really great review. I struggled with getting my essay to feel more story like and my editor helped so much. She was able to take my words and stories and just change the wording subtly to allow for a much smoother read.

After starting out with another more expensive service, my daughter decided to go with Motivate MD! This service was far superior in every way! From essay editing to interview prep, everyone was so supportive and helpful and the finished essays were amazing. My daughter was successful in getting into 2 MD schools. I can’t say enough great things about this service. It is definitely worth it!

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by MotivateMD. It is cheaper because the editors of the essays are medical students and not MDs (or DOs) [yet]. Though it really doesn't matter because the quality that most of the editors provided me is absolutely spectacular. My personal statement and work & activities section had unlimited reviews. My secondary essays had three reviews per school. (I bought the Ultimate Acceptance Package -- and it was worth every single penny). The editors have some background in writing and know exactly what/how essays should be structured. I was hesitant to purchase the package because I thought my essays were decent: they didn't "tell," they "showed." Honestly, unless you know for a fact that you are an excellent writer and know EXACTLY what medical schools want to see in your essays (even after watching videos or reading through sources), you will most likely benefit from this service. Even if you think you're good as is...if you're reading this...(if you can afford it), I would highly recommend you purchase a package (or whatever package suits you best). The edits, suggestions, and comments were absolutely invaluable. I truly couldn't have done it without them. Of all the editors I worked with, the following were my favorites as they went above and beyond in reviewing my drafts: Bridget, Gawon, Filoteia, Conor, Haya, and Kira. Thank you to all of them!
