Good service

I truly love the look of the finish. I used the pure 2C oil on a huge Claro Walnut slab table and was really stoked with it. BUT, the finish scratches very easily. For example, my kids play with their LEGOs on it and it get scratched. I wish there was a harder final coat finish that could go over the top of it. I don't know how it could work well on floors.

I love my floors with Monocoat. No scratches or marks that can not be easily and seamlessly corrected. However, you don't get 5 Stars because it is a physical challenge when time to apply the Universal Oil. It blends well and looks fantastic when done, but it is taxing. The oil is thick and takes muscles to apply. Also you really need to get down on the floor to soak up the excess to prevent the sticky residue, which is exactly what is instructed. (Thank you for those heads up on your Vidoes. Which really need to be updated.) I only wish you had more qualified people to hire to apply the Universal Oil. We can't find anyone in the east side of the greater Atlanta area or Athens area of Georgia that will really take the time to do it right. Yes you can do it yourself and I do but it is hard work. Not complicated just physical. Also no nasty smell and dries quickly!! My original installers did not not clean the floor thoroughly so we had to reapply within 6 months of the installation. After that it was good for 2 years and likely could have made it longer. This time it looks like it will make it longer in that. The floors are easy to clean and keep up. Everyone that comes to our home comments on our gorgeous white oak wide plank natural finished floors.

The product is excellent, but the instructional videos could more indepth.

Used monocoat two part natural on my walnut countertops. Easy to use, smells great and after 6 months it’s holding up pretty good. I give it four stars because some spots of tighter grain like around knots is fading. Certain things will leave a stain but most things wipe clean or dry without a trace. I’ll just add some more as needed as I love that it doesn’t stick to itself and I can fill in scratches and dents unlike polyurethane or other similar products. That said I would and do recommend it.

I ordered the biscuit which looks green on the wood and pine which looks orange. The sample colors online do not look like what I received. I was disappointed by the colors but do hope to find the right one from monocoat. The process of application seems better than the alternative of using polyurethane. I received the sample next day, which I thought would take a week.

The monocoat soap bottle was in a plastic bag. Luckily. Because it had leaked a fair amount. I love the product.

I'm giving a 4 star review because I have not had it on my countertop for more than 2 weeks. I will say that the customer service was exceptional, I needed to call to ask a few questions. The product was easy to put on, had virtually no smell and looks great on my new wood counters. Only time will tell how well it repels liquids
