Exceeded Expectations
It is rare that a product exceeds expectations and actually does more than promised. I am still amazed at the ease of application, low VOC's, performance, and the ability to easily repair. I admit, at first, the cost was causing me to pause. I contacted Monocoat, had a nice conversation, and decided to try the samples. It was a simple project, some spruce shelves. But, I wanted them super dark, jet black. Yet wanted the wood grain to be featured. Sounds simple, but if you have ever tried to use stains, not even close. Wood dyes, work better, but still require several more steps to arrive at finish. I used Monocoat Charcoal pre-color and Black oil plus and came out awesome! When you step back and see your finished work- you see the cost of quality product was worth every penny!
