Poor Customer Service

Returning customer. I ordered product after first trying the sample pots to decide on color. Once I was decided, I ordered the larger can and upgraded the shipping for $60. Once the product came in I was surprised as to how different the color was from the matching sample. I called customer service and was astonished to find how unwilling they were to help. Essentially it was my fault that the the product and the sample pot color didn’t match. I asked for a new one to be sent to me and was denied. I was told that someone would get back to me after they talked to the factory for color matching. I never heard back. Pretty rough experience. I will continue to order Monocoat but not from these guys. I would also like to note that I sent in an email with photos of the differentiation in color, skew numbers of the products and an explanation of how I prepped the wood. The response that I received was that it was not enough information to provide help. I am still waiting to hear about the results from the factory. Maybe next time I will have to purchase a plane ticket so that they can come see for themselves at the project site. #Iamaprofessional I ordered the same product through Amazon because I did not hear back from you. I did not have any color issues. You might want to spend some time working on your customer service skills rather than arguing with the customer via a review. I have been using the product for a couple of years now. Additionally, I have been through a couple tutorials at different shows. I am a professional furniture maker and take pride in my work. I have never left a review on anything in my life. The customer service that I received was poor. It does not benefit you to be dishonest. I am happy to upload my phone log and email history to prove that I was not contacted with a solution. I saw that you mentioned that you reached out to me...you didn't. I did not ask for a refund but for help with the color issue and possibly a new can of product. Very poor service. Next time do the right thing and this will all be avoided. 👍 Could you explain to me in all honesty how you have attempted to help? I paid an exorbitant amount of money because I believe in the product. Additionally, I paid a lot more for expedited shipping. This review has very little to do with the product itself. Yes it was not the correct color match but that could have been easily remedied. I am the one that initiated the conversation originally. I called for help and was told I would hear from you...never did. All that is happening at this point is fuel on the fire. Continuing to be dishonest and avoiding my comments with class recommendations is not your best idea. I would think a large company like Monocoat would enforce "taking the high road". This is not the case and is quite obvious to those who will be taking the time to check out reviews before purchase.

The factory was contacted. There have been 0 reports of color variants. Attempts were made to assist you in respects to sanding and preperation of the woods surface based on the very limited information provided. We attempted to contact you to relay the factory response. If you wish to discuss replacement options we are available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. In addition it is recommended a Quality sanding is performed by a Professional. The Rubio Monocoat responds exactly to how the woods surface is prepared. "Water Popping", open grain and liquids introduced to the prepped woods surface will also have a "Darkening Effect" on the finish. We pride ourselves on our customer service and have a proven track record with our service and product. However, There are some individuals that this product is not meant to be used. A factory training program is also available should you require additional assistance in the future while attempting to use the finish... We Thank You for your very valuable input.... Once again Thank You for your input here are the Rubio Monocoat Class dates for your records.. Learn everything from sanding and prepping for finish to finishing and maintenance of the surface afterwards. The knowledge and skills learned inRubio Monocoats school will help you streamline your processes, increase the quality of your work We have attempted to help you out.
