As a senior, who has had both Mom’s, Meals on Wheels, NoutrishRx, and Homestyle….yuck all! When my 90 year old mother was alive, she felt the same…tastes/looks like garbage… all! Even Misfits veggies (from BC health plan) horrible! Seniors deserve better and these meals are not cheap. I’m sorry to be so long, but it angers me. My 93-year-old Aunt told me her neighbor gave her some of her meals from one of these companies, and she threw them promptly in the garbage. She is well off and can afford to go out for a $50 lunch with her friends. Most seniors cannot, including me. Shameful but at least Meals on Wheels delivers milk. Wow $10 for milk! *I now make bologna sandwich’s and cereal, eggs, sweets, occasional frozen dinner, milk and coffee (cheapest)…..

Where to start! Delivery service is sketchy at best. If no driver is available, meals are sent via UPS and arrive a day later than scheduled. NO ONE from Moms bothers to call and notify you of a delay. Now, let's talk quality - there is none. Nutritional value - questionable. They are providing smaller amounts of protein and larger amounts of starchy filler. The cheese is liquid (processed). Chicken is fake processed stuff. Eggs are instant. This is obvious in the taste and texture. Variety? Non-existent. Same limited selection for at least a year now, and the quality has declined to unacceptable. Of note: This is a for-profit company, meaning profits outweigh quality and service.

Horrible shipping and customer service. They did not communicate well with the shipper which I in turn was forced to do. Correcting mistakes was left up to me the consumer. Food was very bland and highly processed ingredients. Fruit is low quality.

Delivery? Dropped off 115’ hot today here no doorbell rung , ,Previous order all bread buns were moldy in sealed pkges ,,food taste none, ,would not order again but this order was gifted ,

Absolutely the worst food service provider. My first order went without a problem. The second order was absolutely awful. They are supposed to provide a tracking number once the item to the customer. Since no one would be at home to accept delivery, once it was delivered, I was supposed to receive a delivery notification so I can have another family to travel 5 miles to take the box in since no one is home and it is very hot outside. Mom’s meals said they did not have a tracking number and they would not reach out to UPS to get tracking information from a package they were sending me.Because UPS did not give them a tracking number, it is now up to me to find where the food is in spite of this heat. I have ordered 3 times and I will not ever order anything else from them. The customer service is absolutely awful.

My husband started getting Mom's Meals delivered upon being released from his inpatient physical rehab facility. Let's just say it's been a learning experience. The first delivery arrived without any issues, though he had yet to be given a menu, and thus had no choice in what arrived. The food was edible, but just okay, bland and uninspiring, and certainly didn't strike me as being nutritionally balanced in the slightest. When I called to see if we could request organic or non-GMO options, I was told no, all of their meals contain at least some genetically engineered ingredients, making their claims of serving healthy, nutritionally complete meals nothing but a bad joke at best. For his second meal delivery, despite confirming the order he placed, someone on their end inexplicably canceled the order, without so much as confirming - or even informing him - that this had been done. His third delivery failed to arrive, despite them assuring him at least twice that it would be delivered on a specific day, and when it turned up a couple of days later, the order was refused, and reportedly destroyed. Today we did receive a delivery, which arrived warm, with the gel cold packs completely warm and liquid, and at least two meals opened so sauce was all over everything. According to UPS's own tracking information, this is the SAME shipment that was REFUSED three days ago; they simply had it redelivered, with ZERO consideration that our temperatures have been in the mid-90s, and it clearly rendered the food UNSAFE TO EAT. I can't begin to convey how disgusted I am with this company and its utter lack of concern for the safety and well-being of its clients. Hopefully the Health Department will be paying them a visit in the near future. Food Safety laws are CLEARLY being ignored and/or broken.

My husband has had deliveries without any insulation or ice packs. It's 80 degrees here and the box is in the sun until we can get it in. I know Mom's meal used to insulate for shipping.

NOT DIABETIC friendly!!! HIGH IN SUGAR. HIGH IN CARBS. WILL MAKE YOU SICK!!
