Thank you for the feedback. Sponsored content is separate from the requested download and should only be shown once every 6 hours per visitor. If you are seeing sponsored offers more frequently or they appear to replace the actual download, that is not the intended experience. It’s also important to clarify that advertising settings are chosen by the uploader or project owner, not set globally by ModsFire. These settings can be adjusted by them at any time. We’d appreciate any additional details so we can investigate exactly what happened.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sponsored software should never replace the file you’re trying to download. Aug 16, 2026, a large-scale DDoS attack caused temporary issues with parts of our download infrastructure. During that period, some users may have been shown sponsored content while the requested file was temporarily unavailable. This was not the intended behavior. The issue has now been resolved and our systems are operating normally. If you experienced this outside that incident, please send us the affected download link so we can investigate it separately.
