Order this watch feeling extremely skeptical, thinking maybe I’d been scammed! When in fact that couldn’t possibly be any further from the truth! I order the seiko oyster day-date and it’s absolutely fantastic! I love it! I wouldn’t definitely recommend and will be buying another watch soon!

I have several watches already. Well, 30, to be honest. Some Seikos, Citizens, Casios, there are also two Rolexes, IWC, TAG Heuer, Omega, Breitling, Certina, Tissot… And two days ago arrived a Mody’s Seikomariner. I bought it somehow just for fun, I never had modified watch before. First impression was: how to get to the box!? Cardboard box was perfectly secured with layers of plastic tape. I fought them few minutes… Inside I found watch in a very nice travel case placed on top of the presentation box. A standard one. Plus tools to adjust the bracelet - quality comparable to those I found inside the IWC watch box! So far so good. Watch looks very well, details are eyecatching, colors of dial and hands beatiful and exactly as ordered. Setting the time and date smooth - NH35 is very renowned machine if Japanese, not Asian clone. Feels like Japanese. Crystal was checked with diamond checker: 75% quality of these in Rolex, TAG, IWC Breitling or Omega. No complaints. Magnification of an „cyclope eye” a touch too strong - but it may be handy when I grow old enough ;). The last test was timekeeping. Believe me or not, but after 54 hours in high class winding machine it is +2 seconds ahead of radio controlled watch! So quality of certified Swiss chronometer. Just jawdropping… Well, Mr. Cody, fantastic job done. Chapeau bas. Expect another order from rainy Lancashire soon.
