MLBReviews of mlb.tv

why after paying nearly $150 for an MLB season subscription do I have to join HBO Max to watch postseason games particularly the Reyes and guardians? It seems like these streaming services divide up the games amongst themselves kind of like hungry wolves stealing food from each other and we are the victims.

There is no plausible excuse for blacking out games for paying MLB.tv customers, especially postseason. HBO?.... Really?!!! What a waste of big games and multiples of viewers!!! Also, 2 teams are blacked out across the board for Virginia residents, even if not publicly televised locally. I'll not pay this high price again if no changes in coverage or price are made.

Postseason SCAM. Just, wow So, have you tried to watch postseason baseball on mlb.tv? If you have, you'll see that it's a flat fee of $30. You pay that, then you'll find that you can't watch the games. Crazy, right? You'll then find out that what you paid doesn't matter unless you have ANOTHER subscription to another streamer. One gives you access to another that you have to pay for to get access to the game they promised you. So is there a game? Is there not? Does the game exist? It's the card trick of MLB postseason. SCAM.

Way too many blackout games for phillies.tv. Teujg to get a refund and MLB sent me to apple. Will NEVER subscribe again

I would give it zero stars if I could! I paid the single team package this season and out of 162 games as there are two left for my team. I was unable to watch 39 of them due to blackout restrictions or being on another channel that has to be paid for like Apple TV yes network Amazon prime. I hope whoever puts this fiasco together suffers from feline aids.

I will never subscribe again. You pay to be watch maybe half the games you expect if you are lucky. Otherwise there are blackouts or games sold to other networks. Why TF am I missing a baseball game because it’s on Apple TV? MLB is the worst brand in sports. Not doing themselves any favors with the way they run their media.

It's not as bad as a 1* should be, but I'm definitely let down by it. I got the full MLBtv package this year so I could not only watch Mariners games but all the other games too. I was aware that some games would get picked up by other networks, but not if any expected blackout restrictions. I can echo most of the other complaints though. I'm really sick of the app freezing or doing the spinning circle of death and forcing a restart. I frequently pause games and come back to them later, and the app crashed during my pause and I'd have to reset to current at least 3/4 of the time. It's not a question of whether it will crash, but of how many times and how frequently. The number of blackouts and unavailable games was also quite a letdown. Frequently the best game of the night is blacked out. Since I paid $100 of my fee just to see Mariner games, and couldn't watch a fair number of them, I was pretty irritated. I don't want to, as I hate giving money for an inferior product, but I'll probably get it again next year. They have me by the shirt hairs.

This is my third season subscribing to MLB.TV and major problems have not been addressed and blackouts are increasing. It is impossible to watch an entire game without the need to reload it at least 2-3 times. There are more game blackouts due to broadcasts by other streaming services. Am I expected to subscribe to every streaming service simply to watch my team's games. This is exactly the reason I subscribed to MLB.TV and they're not delivering their end of our contract!
