Would give this joke of a company 0 stars if I could. They keep rejecting my perfectly clear driving license as "too blurry". Total joke

They don't count Council bill as proof of address. It's just ridiculous.

Very stupid process! There should be upload button!!!

I have two virgin credit cards and wanted to do a balance transfer to one of the cards. I phoned virgin and went through all the security checks and thought the balance transfer had been done. The following day my account was blocked I phoned Virgin who told me I would receive an email or text from Mitek to do extra security checks it took several days to come through. I phoned Virgin to say I was not happy with sending Mitek copies of my driving licence or passport since I had passed all the security checks. I was shouted at and told I had to do it. I told Virgin to cancel my cards and was told I could not do this unless I sent the required documents to Mitek. Unbelievable service.

very hard to upload docs using this app. Bank account opening keeps failing as the quality of the image is not right. DO THEY NOT REALIZE THAT DRIVING LICENSES AND PASSPORTS BOTH HAVE PLASTIC LAMINATION THAT CREATES A GLARE ... CAN THEY NOT ADJUST FOR THAT GLARE... WHY DO BANKS TAKE MITEK TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT...EASIER TO GO TO A BRANCH AND DO IT THERE ... WHAT A WASTE OF SO CALLED ONLINE ACCOUNT ONBOARDING... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.. PLEASE OPEN ACCOUNTS WITH BANKS THAT DO NOT USE MITEK

Absolutely awful experience. I cannot believe that NatWest use these people - tried and failed many times to upload identification which meets the criteria specified on the NatWest website only to have it rejected. Then you can’t speak to anybody about it directly you have to go through NatWest live chat and then I faced a two working day response time from Mitek only for them to tell me they also didn’t know why the ID had been rejected. Save yourself the bother and open a bank account with somebody else.

Exactly the same as all the other reviews, using to with a well known bank to confirm identity. The photo of the ID keeps coming back saying blurred. But first I see the photo as it's trying to capture and it's not blurred, second you don't get to view the photo it has taken! I am basically now going to give up. What a joke.

Tried opening a current account at Natwest but was stopped by Mitek's "Verification" system every single time I have tried. I have never once ever had issues with my ID before for compliance, be it travelling or law or financial verificiation.
