Hi Hannah, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your experience on our mission! I had a chance to read through your review and wanted to highlight some of the things that stood out for me. You mentioned how valuable it was for you and your teammates to get a new perspective on life in another country. It's wonderful that we were able to provide this opportunity for you and help make it possible. As an organization with global reach, we know firsthand what impact traveling can have on people--especially when they're helping others. The work of Mission Discovery is grounded in service learning principles which means we always try to find ways for teams like yours--who come from different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives--to learn from each other as well as share their skills with those who need them most. This way everyone benefits: the host community gets access to much-needed resources while team members go home feeling fulfilled by having made a difference in someone else's life.
