June, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Mission Discovery team. We're so glad it was a positive one and that you had an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about serving in their communities. It's always a blessing when we hear back from people who have been impacted by what they've seen on a Mission Discovery trip. We cannot wait to serve with you all again in 2023!

Thank you for your review Julianne! I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the Mission Discovery experience in Daytona Beach. You are right, it was an unforgettable trip which will provide some great memories. It's always great when we get feedback from volunteers about what made their time with us special - it helps us make sure that every volunteer has the opportunity to have this kind of impactful experience. It sounds like you had a lot of fun and I'm glad that our team was able to help facilitate this for you.

Thank you so much for your kind words Kate, I'm glad to hear that Mission Discovery has been a blessing in your life. We are humbled by the opportunity to serve alongside our participants and see God's love be demonstrated through them. Mission Discovery is about more than just serving others, it's also about discovering who we are as followers of Christ. It's not uncommon for people on missions trips to find themselves changed forever by what they've seen and experienced while away from home. The support of other Christians united under one mission statement creates an environment where it's safe to try new things or step outside of our comfort zones - all with the safety net of knowing someone cares if things don't go well. I hope this gives you some insight into why we do what we do here at Mission Discovery and would like to thank you again for taking the time out of your day to share this review with us!

Hi Karen, Thank you for your review. We apologize if this trip is not what you were expecting, and we are confident and thankful that while this year may have required more flexibility, you were able to experience God and be part of what He is doing in the area. It is a long and thoughtful effort on our part to choose ministry partners who have been and will be working in the community on a long term basis. Once we commit to a ministry partner, we stick with them for years. Some of our ministry partners become like family to us. This is especially true with South Dakota. Unfortunately, our ministry partner (who was like family) passed away in recent years, and we have had to place more focus on serving in other ways, which many people love. Our website description was changed quite a while ago to reflect our new projects, but it is possible that you read the previous description at some point. If you were expecting to work on the Reservation with the Lakota population, no doubt, this was a different trip. Thank you for serving at Love Inc with us. They are a wonderful organization that is helping the community with many programs. Your work, understanding and flexibility this year is very much appreciated. We cannot wait to serve with you again.

Thank you for sharing your God Sighting and your thoughts for future mission trips in the area. A way to complete smaller projects once the larger projects have been completed is a great idea. We hope to serve with you again in the future!

We are so happy she was able to join the mission team in Orange Beach this year. Thank you for allowing her to serve. We will pray that she holds these memories close to her heart so she never forgets just how much God loves and cares for her.
