The mission discovery teams are outstanding. Things were organized. Scott was a delight to work with as were there others. The third at the college was good. The church was welcoming, and God was present.

This was unique mission trip with multiple activities to serve and interact with God's people. From manual labor to street ministry the week's days provided a different opportunity to share and experience the light of Jesus along with a group of believers from all over the country. I am so greatful for the time together with those serving and being served.

Our church enjoyed its second missions trip with Mission Discovery in June of 2026 (at their Asheville, NC site). The week was profoundly meaningful to our group! Mission Discovery connected us with impactful service projects that allowed us to develop deep relationships within the community, and handled all of the logistical details (freeing our group to enjoy serving together). As usual, the Mission Discovery staff were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and adaptive to help our group have an awesome week of serving and mission. We would HIGHLY recommend Mission Discovery to any group desiring a multi-generational missions trip!

An amazing experience! My teenager daughter and I did a mission trip with them to the Asheville area. It was so well planned and organized, all we needed to do was show up and follow their lead. We greatly enjoyed the evening Bible study time, the morning message, and all the different work/service experiences we got to join in. Their staff was attentive, caring and joyful to be around. It's more than just doing work, it's building a community! We plan to join them for another mission trip next year.

Good morning. As I sit and reflect on last week, much comes to my mind and heart. This was the first time my husband and I have taken a mission trip outside of the US. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had been in earnest prayer that my “eye would effect my heart,” and it did. The Guatemalan people are precious. From those preparing our meals each day, the bus drivers, the ones seen in the clinic, the school, and those in their homes, they were most warm and welcoming. Serving alongside the Appalachian Christian School was a blessing. Our hearts were immediately connected, and they will forever be in my heart. Mission Discovery does an amazing job making their guest feel as comfortable as possible. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Nathan. He is most welcoming and his heart for missions is incredibly evident. Each conversation felt heard and validated. We look forward to his visit to West Texas. With the positivity, comes one bit of constructive criticism. I felt a disconnect with Michael, the project coordinator. I had hoped for the same kind of discussion with him as with Nathan. His mind seemed to be elsewhere, and I honestly feel we connected more with Kenny, the worship leader. Another idea my husband and I had was to include an evening worship session with the public. For every person we met, we offered the gospel and prayer. I believe based upon their response in that setting; they would be open to an actual worship service. When serving them daily, a simple invitation could be given to include the address to where the service would be held. May God continue to bless Mission Discovery, and may many lives be touched through those whom God has given the opportunity to serve. God Bless.

The mission discovery staff are amazing! Getting to serve alongside them and feel so supported while we were in Jamaica is beyond wonderful! I would recommend working with Mission Discovery on any group mission experience!

The trip was truly amazing this was my second time and mission discovery was perfect on setting everything up!

Our group had a great experience in Rapid City, SD working with Love INC. Our Mission Discovery leader, Phil, was very knowledgeable about Love INC and the Rapid City area, which really helped, and he and Isaiah did a great job leading our devotional/worship sessions. The School of Mines provided a nice housing experience for our group with more than enough food to eat. Breakfast was earlier than most teenagers like, but we adapted. Overall, with the beautiful SD scenery and wonderful people we met while working with Love INC, God Sightings were plentiful.
