bathrooms were scetchy and not private, rules were also a little excessive. worship was also very hard to follow.

My first mission trip was incredible. I felt the presence of the Lord all around. In my coworkers, in the residents and in the volunteers serving lunch. Everyone went about their tasks with nonstop energy and joy. I certainly will do this again.

While this trip was the most emotionally difficult, it was also the most rewarding. Seeing the faces of people we helped was priceless. God is good. Even though these people lost everything (physically, emotionally, etc.), they were still trusting God to provide.

We went to Puerto Rico with 13 teens and 10 adults from our church. We had an amazing week serving at 4 different locations. Each site was had their own story and we were so glad to be a part of them. The places we stayed was great too. We ate well, swam, and had an amazing view. My God sighting was on our last day, God gave us the most vibrant, beautiful double rainbow I have ever seen!

Having the opportunity to help rebuild in Waverly, TN was amazing! To see a community torn apart by flood waters be brought back together in Christ was inspiring. Hearing the stories, being in fellowship with the people of the community, working with several organizations, and being a member of the Mission Discovery team filled my week with hope and love. I already can’t wait for my next trip to help shine God’s light and be the hands and feet of Jesus!

This was my first ever high school mission trip and it was great! Pushing me just enough out if my comfort zone to find that I can do hard things for the right reasons. It challenged me in my faith and was super fun!
