Great trip all the way around again with Mission Discovery. Jimmy's leadership is such a blessing for both groups that come to serve and the community's in which Mission Discovery serves. Thanks for a great week!

This trip was wonderful! We are so thankful for Jimmy and his leadership especially with so many moving parts going on in the relief for the town. To be apart of the unity in this community added a relational aspect that was priceless.

KHuis
Our HS YG had an awesome week working with Mission Discovery, and the sweet and inspiring family we served! This family (two sister and their mom) shared stories from their lives and many were devastating but what inspired our kids was how strong, steady, and persistent their faith was through all their hardships. They could have chosen to be angry with God but they instead ran to Him. And, we were able to do that with them throughout the week by praying with and over them. We knew our service was important but God put us with this family to inspire & encourage our own faith and be a light! Praise God! The volunteers that partner with MD are wonderful too….The food providers, the work site leaders and everyone who make the week happen, thank you! We’ve said multiple time in this week back home we’re ready to go back!

Ashlyn
Our trip with Mission Discovery was awesome. My biggest God sighting was the connection of our students. We brought a smaller group than we had planned on and they were students from all walks of life with different passions and interests. Yet, after just a few hours in the car they all became so close. I was fearful that once we got back to our student ministry things would revert back, but they didn't. They all showed up and searched for one another to continue reminiscing on a wonderful trip. We had one student go from shutting us out to embracing us all, we had others have epiphanies about their lives not being about themselves, we got to watch our students say yes to every opportunity to serve. I hadn't seen such wonderful optimism like theirs that week. Our week was transformational and I couldn't be more grateful.

Thank you for choosing to travel with Mission Discovery, Ashlyn. I am thrilled to hear that your experience was so positive and that you saw God working in powerful ways in and through your students. It is always a joy to see our students grow closer to Him and each other, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it. Thank you for sharing your story with us, and please do let us know if we can be of assistance in any way as your student ministry continues to minister in Jesus' name. We hope to journey alongside you again soon!
