The buying process was very confusing and the answers were never clear, leaving much space for assumptions or misleading information. Took a lot of time to confirm and understand the final proposal. Felt like a forced confusion negotiation to leverage prices. Procurement process also very disturbing while renewing, this should have been a smooth process. Although, the technical support was responsive and clear.

Minitab went from a floating license model to a fixed model making it cost prohibitive to use throughout the entire company. Only selected associates can now use this tool which limits our ability to improve processes. As far as implementation of the fixed licenses...that went well.

I only wanted to buy a single user license. It was a big pain in the butt, just buy it with a p-card. It could have been much simpler.

It took almost 3 weeks and multiple phone calls to get my Minitab license activated. very poor customer service. Was almost ready to ditch it and do the analysis in Python.

When editing Gage R&Rs..in order to see what you have entered you need to save and then exit mini tab and when you reopen you can see your edits. Not user friendly. Example...when I type in my name in Reported By... I type it in and it does not show up until I save it and exit and then reopen. Is this a glitch in your software?? Will change my stars when fixed.

New version looks good, but I can´t use old (before version 18) Minitab made analysis???

Dear Mikko, Since versions older than Minitab 18 are no longer supported, our latest software doesn’t open up the files. However, have no fear! We can help. I was forced to pay for additional licences I did not require because if I dropped from 10 concurrent licenses to 6, apparently I would be pushed into the user-named licence system which would cost even more. I do not know yet how we will manage next years licences going forward if we are pushed to the user-named licence package the cost will spiral and not be value for money.
