Good product. But sourcing in Asia resulted in product being delivered weeks later than indicated at the time of order.

HI Michael, Replying with the same information we gave you in January this year: Hi Michael, Thanks for your patience in waiting for our response. First, we are really glad that the product in terms of quality met with your expectations. We are concerned that your order for a custom hand carved, hand painted plaque took longer than anticipated. We are disappointed our team did not adequately keep you informed of your order's status. Here's the time line: Oct 16- order received and design artwork confirmed by you via email with our staff confirming with you "Standard production time is approximately 6 to 8 weeks." Oct 17-Nov 28 Plaque was hand carved, painted and finished Nov 28- Approval Photo sent to customer Nov 28- Customer approved Dec 05- Bulk Shipped to our distribution warehouse Dec 18- Received our distribution warehouse Dec 23- Dispatched our distribution warehouse Dec 27- Received by customer Total 10 weeks that included the holidays. OK So production was more or less on time and the holiday shipping dragged the delivery out but 10 weeks would be an average time from order to delivery with a 6-8 week production window. I'll be talking with our staff to overview our comm's processes especially at peak times such as the holiday season. To answer your question about where the plaques are made, they are made at our workshop at the former Clark AFB in Clark Philippines. The workshops are 100% US owned and operated and we share an industrial zone with other US operations such as the likes of Texas Instruments, Nike and Coach. These traditional mahogany plaques have been primarily supplied out of the Philippines to the US military since the Philippines was a US colony. Again, very happy to hear that you like the quality of the work, sorry to hear it took a little longer than expected.
