Milford Publishers simply could not get their act together in editing, formatting and publishing my book. Every time they attempt to do so they introduce new errors and variations from the original. They are not equipped to handle books that have illustrations and layers of text types and summaries etc. They come through as mediocre at best and are a bunch of incompetent individuals who do not understand professional publishing.

For writers who want to publish their work professionally, Milford Publishers has been a great resource. Their staff helps you at every stage of the publication process and is quick to respond and encouraging. They produce exactly what they promise, and the editing quality is outstanding. Strongly advised for both novice and seasoned writers.

I recently worked with Milford Publishers to self-publish my book, Way Back Home: The Rediscovery, on Amazon and Kindle. My project manager, Mr. Williams, guided me through formatting, proofreading, and the uploading process. The timeline, however, was much longer than originally communicated. What was expected to take 20–25 days ended up taking over two months, and I often had to follow up multiple times to ensure the work moved forward. Despite the delays, I appreciate that the final outcome was completed successfully. I am happy to see my book published, and I sincerely thank Mr. Williams for his patience, support, and efforts throughout this journey.

Great experience, my manuscript was priced several times, format is great, everyone welcomed my feedback and changes at all stages, as well as my delaying things because I thought of further changes.

Working with the company has been a fair overall experience however, the work that was done on the video book with happy cakes I was not blown away with the results thank you so much for being also the timing that was expected for the work to be completed for all three books was not completed in the timeframe that we had discussed or I had expected overall, the final product has been acceptable, but not exceptional

Milford Publishing Stay away for this Publisher they are a complete fraud. They are very nice and polite upfront to get you to join them. They will tell you have the best book. Jacob Smith will try and get you signed up for $399. Then Chris Jordan will try and get you to Cash app $389 for copyright, ISBN, and LCCN. Which doesn't cost that much.You will clearly recognize him because his English is bad. Jacob will then call and tell you he has this great marketing deal but you must act now for $400. William Wilson is supposed to review and edit your Manuscript He want even read or do anything to your Manuscript. He will send you an email back saying review edited Manuscript. And nothing will have been done. I noticed the red flags and refused to continue after sending $800 dollars. This is how they treated a veteran by scamming with deception. Now they want even answer the phone.

Please avoid! My project manager could barely speak English, which meant I couldn’t understand him. After submitting my manuscript and the form for my cover design I received what was labeled “edited manuscript.” It was basically exactly what I sent to them with changes that I was aware were mistakes. In addition, They obviously didn’t read closely about what I wanted for my cover. They put in things I said I did not want. I emailed my project manager and after 7 days of no response I called to speak with a supervisor. The person who answered the phone was foreign and so was the “Senior Project Manager.” I did not have a good feeling about this place and told him so. The whole situation lacked professionalism. They did immediately refund my money, which I appreciate.
