DONNA B.
We still don’t have have our car
We still don’t have have our car. Seven days have gone by. We’ve been lied to. It was a bait switch to get my business. First quote a month a head of time, $1500, day before pickup turns into $1900. That price turned into $2300 day of pickup., not a good look. Pickup was finally scheduled for a Friday early afternoon. It happened at 11:00 pm on Friday night. Then the driver spent two entire days and nights in Colorado Springs, why??? Truck issues? Other business, who knows because there was no communication. Wendell the driver, told us he’d be here three days ago, then he said he’d be here yesterday afternoon, finally at 11 PM we get a call to come meet him to pick our car up, not delivered to our house as promised, and what do you know…. he lost a ramp. So he left again, still no truck, and traveled an hour away to go figure his problem out. Was supposed to see us this morning at 7:00, no show and zero communication. Now it’s 1130 and he finally shows up in front of our house and he can’t get the truck off, so he instead of telling us, he just drives off after sitting in front of our house for 30 minutes. When my husband calls, he complains and acts the victim. What a circus. And $2300 for all this is highway robbery and I’m gonna make sure everybody knows it. And still no truck.
Response from Mile Auto Transport LLCSep 29, 2026
We’re sorry to hear that you’re dissatisfied with your experience. We understand how frustrating delays can be when you are waiting for your vehicle, and we take concerns like these seriously. That said, we would like to clarify several points for the sake of accuracy. Mile Auto Transport does not control a driver’s schedule once a vehicle is assigned for transport. Drivers are independent transportation professionals, and the stops they make along their route are determined by the driver based on their circumstances, route, equipment, and other operational considerations. Delays and changes in timing are unfortunately a common occurrence in the auto-transport industry. A driver making stops along the way does not, by itself, indicate that there is a problem with the vehicle or that something improper has occurred. In this case, we contracted a driver with a strong track record and experience in vehicle transportation. While the delays described are certainly frustrating, they were not something Mile AT could directly control. We also remained in communication with the customer and provided assistance when requested. Regarding the price, the initial figure discussed was an estimate based on the nearest major city pickup. The vehicle was ultimately being picked up from a rural location, and we explained during the initial conversation that the final price could differ due to the actual pickup location as well as the vehicle’s external modifications. The updated price was communicated before the customer proceeded, and the customer was given the option to accept or decline the transportation arrangement. No one was forced to accept the revised price or the assigned driver. We also want to clarify that Mile Auto Transport was not made aware of all of the issues described in this review as they were occurring. We were contacted and provided assistance when we were asked to do so, and only received an email several days later regarding circumstances that had not previously been brought to our attention. We understand that the experience was frustrating, and we regret that the transportation did not proceed as smoothly or as quickly as expected. However, describing the situation as a “bait and switch” does not accurately reflect the communication that took place regarding the estimated price, the rural pickup location, the vehicle modifications, or the option to accept or decline the updated terms. We remain committed to being transparent with our customers and working to resolve transportation issues whenever they are brought to our attention, which in this case were not.
