We are eager for the rest of the country to catch up with California's sustainability efforts! We love that reusable shopping bags are now commonly available at grocery stores and that most people probably own a couple of reusable bags already. The catch for many people is remembering to always have them on hand for the grocery store and beyond. We are so impressed by the durable rip-stop fabric, 35 pound weight capacity, and simple & easily transportable self-containing ball design of 24/7 bags, we feel they are an important addition to the Fix+ line. Again and again, 24/7 Bags consistently make it to the grocery store, farmer's market, drugstore, library, boutique, potluck, and bakery because they fit so conveniently into a small purse, coat pocket, glove compartment, or even in a skinny jeans pocket! The reinforced felted pad on the thick shoulder strap makes them more comfortable to carry than other bags we've tried, tested, and owned. Also, the self-containing pocket doubles as a perfect pouch for keys, wallet, phone, & headphones. Machine washable & dryable, these bags boast a lot of stand out qualities in the realm of reusable bags that we just couldn't ignore. Over its lifetime, a single 24/7 bag can keep keep thousands of single use plastic & paper bags from our landfills. Fix+ allows Members to receive higher value products than those included in the MightyFix. Fix+ is a way to expand your MightyFix journey with upgrades and a broader selection of items that we are unable to include in the MightyFix line due to price limitations but that we feel are an important & integral part of healthy, green living and are excited to share with you. Hi Robin - Thank you for sharing your feedback and for trying out the MightyFix subscription. All of the Fix items in our lineup retail between $10 to $16 plus we offer free shipping for these items to customers in the 48 contiguous states. We are still a relatively small company so do not have the same margins that superstores like Walmart, Target and Amazon are able to offer. We purchase all or inventory directly from the manufacturers and are obligated to MAP pricing (minimum advertised pricing) that is set by the distributor/manufacturer meaning we cannot offer it at a lower price than what they allow. Generally this price is slightly higher that what the manufacturer offers as their own selling price to ensure secondary vendors don't undermine their own sales. Superstores that purchase in extremely high volumes or use third party clearance sellers are subject to different pricing regulations which is why they are able to offer lower prices. We always extend best pricing available to our customers and our Mighty Fix Members also get access to our Member Only Deals which include special pricing on certain items that we negotiate with the manufacturers. Thank you for your feedback and for being a long-time Mighty Fix subscriber! I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to try out all of your products are are feeling like some of them are for similar purposes. One of our main goals with the Mighty Fix subscription is to introduce customers to a variety of non-toxic and eco-friendly alternatives to conventional items in 5 main categories: Ditch Disposables, Green Cleaning, Non-Toxic Food Storage, Safe Skincare, and Breathe Clean Air. We do organize the products to space out similar items at least a couple of months apart from each other. Our intention is to help you discover new things for you to try as you start to build out your own collections from your favorite experiences with these products. We understand everybody has different favorites but our product selection team carefully curates the Mighty Fix items to introduce a variety of safe and non-toxic materials and formulas that are available! I do apologize for any wording errors you have come accross. We try to be careful in stating that items are "free from harmful chemicals" and "free from known toxins" as you are absolutely correct that everything is made of chemicals! Our intention with the Mighty Fix is to introduce you to safe non-toxic materials as alternatives to conventional items so you can decide which works best for you, discover new things, and start building your own collections based on your experiences. The program focuses on five key areas including Ditch Disposables, Non-Toxic Food Storage, Breathe Clean Air, Green Cleaning, and Safe Skincare. Our system does scan your order history on the day your Fix processes before assigning your next item to ensure we don't send you a duplicate of something you've ordered from us in the past, have as a pending add-on, or already received as a Mighty Fix. If you've ever received a duplicate product, that was definitely a packing mistake on our end and we would love to resolve it with you! After 3 years of being a subscriber, while you'll never see the same item twice, you might see similar items in different materials come your way, for example, a silicone food storage container and a stainless steel container. If you are finding that you are no longer in need of the monthly surprises, we do have some other options available where you can still maintain your free shipping benefits and access the Member Only Deals.
