Sometimes the product is not something I can use. Some have contained allergens. Some are things that I just plain don’t want. Twice you have sent straws. Once glass and once stainless. I can’t find anyone who wants them. No one wants to chip a tooth. They are not child friendly. I use silicone straws for my kids. I recall being asked to fill out a profile when I signed up with mighty nest. Maybe the mighty fix should make sure the items are appropriate for the customer before sending them off. Products with top 8 allergens? No thank you. Products from China? No such thing as responsibly made in China. No thank you. How about some American-made products? Makeup and sunscreen? No thanks. This fix went straight in the garbage.

Thank you for being a MightyFix subscriber. While do not have a way to filter for specific ingredients or allergies, the profile preferences do allow you of a couple options for customizing your subscription including opting out of the Skincare category or setting your account to Vegan Only items. The Stainless Steel Straws are part of our MightyFix lineup, but we do not send glass straws as part of the Fix program. The straw set was curated as an important part of the MightyFix lineup because it eliminates the need for single-use, disposable plastic straws which are a problematic contributor to ocean pollution that endangers marine life. They also make great summertime cherry-pitters! You should never receive a duplicate MightyFix so if you did, our apologies! We would be happy to remedy the issue and get the correct product to you once we determine what you are missing. Our customer service team will reach out to you directly to get more information. We carry items from about 150 different manufacturers and they are all made in different places. The majority of our skincare and cleaning supplies are made in the USA but we also carry items manufactured in Europe, China, Thailand, and other parts of the world. It is very important to us to carry products made in America, but our goal is to carry a wide variety of high-quality safe products and sometimes these products are almost impossible to find manufactured in the US. We hope to see more products manufactured in America in the future! There are some materials, such as stainless steel, that are virtually impossible to find manufactured anywhere but China, India or Japan. In these cases, we ensure our vendors have close relationships with the factories where their products are manufactured and visit them periodically. We are always taking suggestions though, so if you find alternatives made in the US please do pass them along to us!
