This Company is Being Sued by Major Law Firms
This company is a nightmare to deal with. I get it. I owe a debt. I must pay the debt. I can’t understand how this multi-million-dollar company can behave this way. I have sent numerous replies asking for a reduction or a settlement, and I hear nothing back. Then, all of a sudden, I get another email the very next day, hounding me. Then the next day I get another email hounding me. Then this email (I assume it’s auto-generated) says, “Michelle, we haven’t heard from you”... Then I get a letter threatening legal action. They offer what they consider a settlement, and I see it as a slap in the face. Over $800 is owed, and you’re “willing” to take $89 off… I might as well pay the whole balance. I’m pretty sure this company violates multiple collection practices acts based on what I know. I will not be bullied into a balance that I’m not going to pay, more than half of what I owe. That’s called a settlement. Their employees are rude, the managers/supervisors are “conveniently” never around, and they tell you that if you don’t pay, they will pursue legal action. Then go ahead. At this point, I would much rather pay an attorney thousands than pay a multimillion-dollar company hundreds, especially when I know they bought my debt for next to nothing.
