Middlehost’s Broken Promises and Extremely Disappointing Service
In my personal experience, Middlehost makes big promises before you purchase its services, but once you become a customer, the situation changes. The promises made during the sales process are not honored, and the support team does not seem willing to take responsibility for what was promised. I purchased a hosting plan expecting reliable service, but I faced ongoing technical issues and problems with disk space. Despite the claims made about the hosting service, my website did not work properly, and I ended up wasting both my time and money. What disappointed me the most was the difference between what was promised before the purchase and the actual experience afterward. My advice to others: Please think carefully before purchasing hosting from Middlehost. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this company. Save your time, money, and frustration by considering other hosting providers.
Response from Middlehost, Inc.Oct 10, 2026
Hello, We’re sorry to hear how disappointing your experience has been. We take your concerns about the sales information, technical issues, disk space, and support seriously, and we’d like to review what happened. Please contact us privately through Trustpilot or open a support ticket with the email address on your account, your domain name, and any relevant order or ticket number. Once we can locate your account, we’ll investigate the promises and issues you’ve described and follow up with you directly. Update - October 10, 2026: We were able to locate your account. Our records show that you purchased hosting on September 21, 2026. When you reported a 500 Internal Server Error the next morning, our investigation found that your domain was still pointed to your previous host, where the error was occurring. Later that day, our live chat team found that the database had not yet been migrated and guided you on this. We also advised you to update your domain’s nameservers in ticket #95362. On October 7, you opened ticket #910492 about a similar 500 error which was on your old hosting and requested a full refund. Our team found that the account had reached its 30 GB storage limit, preventing your Laravel application from writing session files. We advised you to free up space or upgrade to the Marlin plan if you needed more storage. We also reviewed the pre-sales live chat. That discussion was about purchasing an annual plan, and our agent explained that if you cancelled after a month, the remaining amount would be refunded according to our refund policy. Your purchase was for a monthly plan, and the refund request was made after 15 days. Under the policy, a full refund on a monthly plan is available within the first 24 hours and it is clearly mentioned on the refund policy which was shared in livechat before purchase, so the refund request fell outside that period. We’re sorry if the distinction between the annual and monthly terms was unclear, but our records do not show any false commitment about refund or storage. Kind regards, Middlehost Support
