First they take over two and a half weeks to ship products that were 'ready for shipping' when I ordered and then they arbitrarily cancelled part of my order. Not sure what kind of operation they are running but it certainly isn't a business.

I made my Spring order in February it is June 3rd and I still have not received my order. I just called and cancelled my order. They are happy to take your money, but do not deliver the products. Very poor customer service.

This company can not be trusted!!! I ordered several different types of grasses. What they sent was so small I had trouble finding them in the bag of peat. They charge a premium for next to nothing, which has a better chance of dying than living. Then there is the fact it takes weeks into months to ship.

I originally ordered product in late February all showing an "in stock status." Customers need to know that Michigan Bulb charges you when you order, not when they actually ship the products to you (assuming that happens in the same calendar year) - big difference. 2 months after my order and payment I am still attempting to get the original items, not only that I ordered but also paid for nearly 60 days ago. 2 different contacts from my end to the company have presented no progress, only weak promises and a litany of excuses. MBC continues to push their delivery dates out on my order status bar, no explanation, no real customer service, minimal business integrity and at the end of the day all talk and no walk. I ordered 150 bulbs - iris and grape hyacinth. The price was reasonable and they were shipped promptly. Five of them came up. I contacted customer service by phone (bad connection with India and a very helpful "agent" issued a merchandise credit. I used it for a flower pot. Customer service good, merchandise lousy.

This company delivers live plants in 7+ days. I received mine on 8th day. Needless to say what condition of plant you get. Some is completely dead, some is half live and you still have a hope. And they don't provide the refund. Before you are attracted by their prices, check some good nurseries.

I recently ordered a few things from Michigan bulb Co. and received what they had in stock, which I was happy with. What I did not like was the fact that they charged my credit card for items that were not in stock nor would be for 3 months. It would seem to me any reputable company should not charge your credit card until the item ships!

I have, along with several family members been ordering from this company for years, and as long as the items were bulbs the orders have always been fine. (Potted plants are not a good idea, unless you want dead twigs). But I do not know when this happened but they are now part of a much larger company. The selection they have is nothing like it use to be. But that way you have to make more smaller orders from all of there "sister companies". All of these company's have very poor shipping standards. Mi Bulb Co, keeps taking orders for items they never have in stock, even when their website says its in stock and ready to ship. Its not really in stock and ready to ship. They change the ship date on a whim, but never inform you of the change. You call and speak to customer service and they are not helpful at all. You email them and never receive any sort of reply. The only good thing is you can now cancel the whole order online. But then they are very slow about offering the refund. (Up to 30 days!!!) It truly is a shame, use to be great. Since there are 10-15 "sister companies" they should just make one website, so I would not have to place five orders and wait for five different shipments. It's such a shame.
