Prevent you from canceling a subscription without emailing them to which they often do not respond. When they finally respond they demand a penalty according to terms buried in their fine print, which is illegal. If you refuse to pay the penalty then they will continue billing you the subscription indefinitely.

Total Ripoff. This is a sketchy business. Charging $118 to cancel my subscription ($130 monthly box). 80% of the fruit as terrible and not worth eating.... and what was good could be had a local latin or asian market for a mere fraction of the cost.

Miami Fruit is a total scam. I bought 1 banana for over $45.00. Stupid right? I thought it was a bunch. My mistake. Used ApplePay in order yo not share any information and somehow the subscribed into a recurring purchase. There is no way to call anyone there. When I went in to “manage subscription” there was no way to cancel. The only way to contact anyone is through email. Attempted to do that and no one got back to me to clearly cancel the subscription. The one banana I did get is shit. Was forced to make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Still not resolved. Contemplating legal action.

They are NOT clear about what their “Pre-Order” means as far as if something is in season. “In season” apparently also means you “may” have to wait an entire year for your fruit, and by “may”, THAT then means if you move up on their waitlist. The problem with that is if you then cancel for a refund they charge you a ten dollar fee and I think that’s unfair and NOT transparent. I may be one person but this one person will never make a purchase with this vendor again.

Just got my first box. Very disappointed. Everything in the box i could get at my local grocery store. Definitely not worth the $120 I paid. I went online to cancel my subscription and could not. I have to request it through email. Hopefully someone responds and cancels this before the next delivery.

I purchased one "premium soursop" fruit on May 12th for $87.30 and shipping is Fedex Priority Overnight. It is now Monday May 18th and I still have not received the delivery. Customer Service has gone dark -- I emailed them and they have yet to get back to me. They funnel you to the "Shop" app for tracking, but the Shop app is absolutely awful...the statuses flip around with no real data. I emailed Miami Fruit to ask for the Fedex tracking number and that is what I am waiting for right now. God knows how this fruit is going to arrive to me given that it is has been allegedly travelling on it's way to me for almost 6 days...not knowing if the fruit is in a protective delivery vessel, not knowing if it is in a refrigerated space...etc. Definitely will never do this again. See people, this is why Amazon wins and small businesses do not. And after reading their refund policy, it seems sketchy as to whether I'll get my money back. This was a lot of money, potentially for nothing.

We had a $45 gift certificate and wanted mandarins. We had to pay extra shipping fees. When we got the box, months later, it had one!!! mandarin in it. We had marked one down, thinking it was one dozen or one case. I can't imagine a company selling one piece of fruit for $50. What a rip-off!

Extremely Disappointed — Especially Given the Circumstances I ordered over $400 worth of fruit for my 85‑year‑old, ill parent, hoping to send something fresh and comforting. Unfortunately, the order arrived in terrible condition — much of the fruit was rotten, bruised, and broken. It was completely unacceptable, especially for the price and the purpose of the gift. I contacted the company immediately on the day the package was received to express my disappointment and request a refund, which was refused. I was shocked by the lack of accountability and customer care, especially given the condition of the product and the situation. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely upsetting. I cannot recommend this company based on the quality of the product I received and the response from customer service.
