They claim to have a "money back guarantee," but we did NOT find that to be the case. We cancelled WITHIN the 30 day period and kept getting the runaround from them. We HAD TO DISPUTE the charge on our credit card and thankfully we "won" the dispute.
If you're gonna have a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, HONOR IT!
Response from Metatrading.aiJun 20, 2025
Hello JR,
Our money-back guarantee is valid and honored — but only when the agreed terms are followed. This includes a final offboarding meeting and a full 30-day run of the algorithm, which you agreed to at the start.
In your case, the final required meeting never took place, despite several attempts on our part to schedule it. Additionally, your follow-up came after the 30-day guarantee period had already passed, making the request outside the agreed timeframe.
We’ve had no issues honoring our guarantee when clients complete the process as outlined. We’re always open to fair and transparent communication, and remain willing to speak with you directly if you’d like to properly close the loop.

Paying some stupid tax
I wanted to share my experience, hopefully it helps. I saw the ads for Meta Trading on Instagram and was obviously skeptical. But the more I thought about it I eventually talked myself into checking it out. I did the sales call and they showed me charts and gave me good data points. I gave it a try with a small portion of my investment account. The software is not cheap, I won't give the price but you can see it in other reviews and I'll verify those numbers as approximately accurate to what I paid. I don't know this for sure but I suspect the price of the bot is based on your stated investment amount. Just my guess seeing the range of prices in other reviews.
My first automated trade was on March 10, 2025. Things seemed to be progressing as advertised with 1-3 trades per day. Most trades were positive and my account was up about 2.7% in about 3 weeks. Personally I was pleased, because while they advertise 100%+ annual returns I felt that even if I got a fraction of that I'd be beating the overall market significantly. On April 3rd, things went crazy. Between the 3rd and 4th the bot executed 50 trades - the vast majority where big losers. By the time all the trades were closed I had realized a drawdown of 38.2%. The company sent out an email about a crash of AUDCAD on April 4th which I appreciated. They advised people to keep their money in so the bot could have access to capital for the recovery process. Since that time, there has been no formal update from the company. I've sent several emails to the company asking for an update on the bot and the go forward plan, and not one has been responded to. I'm sure they'll respond to this review saying they responded and to check my spam folder (I've seen that in other negative reviews). I can confirm I've checked and rechecked my spam and all email filters. They have sent two short responses via text which largely blames tariffs and the market. They say they are making updates to the bot, or have made updates, but I have not really seen anything. It's been 2 months since the crash and the bot has executed only 1 trades in that time - on May 7th. That trade was positive but made only a very small dent in the overall loss. While I have gotten some limited feedback via text saying they are waiting for market conditions to improve, I am frustrated they are not communicating what's happening or a plan for moving forward. My guess is there is no good news to share and that's why they're being quiet. Who knows...
I'm not super mad about the losses. I understand this is a risky investment and as such I came out a loser. I am frustrated by the lack of communication from Meta Trading. This was a new area for me and I was willing to take a risk with an appropriately sized investment for me. I suspect I'm not the only customer with significant loses. They should be sending out regular updates about what is happening with their bot and the overall market. I continue to see their ads on Instagram and I'm pretty suspicious about reviews I see posted in the last 30-60 days claiming significant gains. Perhaps those people have a different bot than I do but my observation and limited communications I've been able to get from the company in the past few months tell me that the bot is on the sideline and not trading.
In summary. I invested $150k plus the cost of the bot. It's been about 90 days any my account balance is $96k today. The loss is disappointing but more so is the lack of communication and guidance from Meta AI. After the cash on April 4th, the S&P is up about 18%. So had I pulled my money at that time I could have made back a portion of the loss with a simple S&P ETF. I moved the majority of my money out of this investment today. I left $6k in as purely a gamble. Maybe one day I'll get back some of the losses. I'm not optimistic and honestly, given the lack of communication from Meta, I don't even know if they are still in business or doing business. They always respond to these reviews so maybe I'll actually get a real update about what's happening with their bot? Because I generally like the idea of automated trading I might be willing to try this again but I would need to think hard before trying this company again. Check out the FX Blue accounts on their website, they all end in March 2025....

Thank you for sharing your experience — we truly appreciate your honesty and understand your frustration, especially after a sharp market event like what occurred in early April for moderate and aggressive accounts.
To clarify, the drawdown you experienced was the result of an extremely rare and rapid movement in the AUDCAD pair, the most severe since the 1987 currency crash. Our algorithm, which is designed for hands-off, low-frequency trading (typically 1–3 trades per day), reacted as it was built to: it escalated trade activity to mitigate exposure during an anomaly. While this helped exit positions during a volatile window, it unfortunately led to a temporary drawdown.
We also want to address communication concerns. We did in fact send out three separate updates to affected clients:
> Two in April
> One in May
These explained the unusual AUDCAD movement, the bot’s behavior, and what to expect moving forward. Upon checking, these were received to your inbox.
It’s also important to note: while we don’t regularly send market analysis to all clients, we do offer private video calls upon request to go over recent performance and strategy — and we're happy to do that with you if you'd like. Additionally, there has been no recorded attempt made to schedule a dedicated meeting with our team to get answers.
Since April, the bot has shifted into capital protection mode, trading very cautiously while the market resets. That’s by design — to avoid compounding losses during periods of high volatility. It has not been “shut off,” but rather operating in a deliberately reduced-trade posture to protect your capital as intended.
Lastly, we never promise guaranteed returns or performance. Our long-term data model spans 12+ years and trades only AUDCAD, AUDNZD, and NZDCAD because of their correlated recovery behavior. The events of April were a statistical outlier — not a reflection of normal bot function.
We’re still operating, still supporting clients, and very much still here to help. If you’re open to it, we’d love to walk through your trade data directly and offer guidance based on your current setup.

update on 5/21
I only want to comment on the statement made in the reply that internal naming of different iterations do not equate to different companies.
This is not true. The companies referenced in my review are all separately registered entities, with no clear relations to MetaTrading.ai. NeroAI at nerotrades.com is an entity registered in Wyoming. This is very different than the Florida Growth Ventures entity registered in Florida. The entity that charged my card Traders Tech LLC also registered in Wyoming is again very different than the entity registered in Florida and associated with the website Metatrading.ai that I was referred to and contacted.
original review
I originally contacted MetaTrading.ai after being referred by close friends who had positive experiences using their technology. My designated account representative was Justin Sides Jr.
I explicitly requested the same trading settings and safeguards my friends had used. However, without my knowledge or consent, Justin Sides Jr. (also referred to as "Jr" in reviews for NeroTrades) connected a completely different software to my account. This led to an 80% loss before I was even fully onboarded.
From April 4 to April 7, the bot executed excessive trades without any of the promised safeguards in place. MetaTrading.ai had assured me of timely support and that I would retain final control over my account—neither of which happened. I had no access to the server and no ability to stop the trades. Multiple margin call notices were issued, and my account balance dropped from over \$72,000 to just \$12,000.
Four days later, Justin Sides Jr. finally intervened, but the damage was already done. During this entire period, I was unable to reach anyone at MetaTrading.ai, including Justin Sides Jr, Louis Callery, or anyone from the "Support Team" despite repeated attempts via text, phone, and email. I still have not received any response from anyone at MetaTrading.ai other than Justin and Aaron to help with the conflicting information provided by Justin and Aaron.
It was during this crisis that I discovered my account had been connected to software from NeroTrades or NeroAI—companies I had never heard of, let alone authorized to access my funds. NeroTrades has not responded to any of the publicly available contact information, yet continues to receive “verified” reviews from new customers. How is that possible?
Why are there so few reviews or disclosures about the millions of dollars lost (as claimed by Justin in defense of my substantial loss) by customers during April? Less than 2% of MetaTrading.ai’s "verified" reviews mention this time frame or the complete communication breakdown that occurred. No one is responding to text, emails, voicemails, or calls, yet they are still onboarding new customers and receiving positive reviews?
I only became aware of NeroTrades and NeroAI because of one of the email accounts used by Justin was @nerotrades.com. According to Justin there are many different names used to refer to the MetaTrading.ai "bot" but they are used solely for purposes of internal organization - the technology is “identical.” Aaron Villegas when questioned about the charge to my card by his company responded to the losses with "your account isn't blown" and claimed he did not need a signed agreement to connect his technology to my account since since he issued a “friend discount” of $5,000 (which I did not request or was aware of)—why would the exact same technology be sold at such a steep discount without explanation?
I’m left asking:
* Is MetaTrading.ai aware of these disputes?
* Are NeroAI or nerotrades.com affiliated with MetaTrading.ai?
* What is the relationship between MetaTrading.ai, WorkSpace Server (the third-party server I was never granted access to), 1st Sergeant’s Hill Inc (the entity that requested payment), and Traders Tech LLC (the entity that charged my credit card)?
When I first found the NeroAI website, it listed a phone number—although no one ever answered. That phone number has since been removed and replaced with an “X.” Despite this, they continue to receive “verified” reviews.
This situation raises serious concerns about transparency, accountability, and unauthorized access to brokerage accounts without signed agreements across multiple entities.
Response from Metatrading.aiMay 20, 2025
Tami, while we respect all client feedback, your review is filled with misleading assumptions, paraphrased statements, and outright fabrications that do not align with our records or standard operating procedures.
Many of your conclusions are based on misinterpretations of normal system architecture, including the use of Virtual Private Servers (VPS), internal naming conventions for algorithm iterations, and the structure of our support processes. To be clear, no unauthorized software was connected through our onboarding team, and any references to unrelated names or domains are a result of miscommunication or actions taken outside our platform.
Additionally, it’s not unusual for algorithm iterations to have internal labels for tracking purposes. These do not reflect different systems or companies—they are just versions of the same core strategy. Suggesting otherwise is inaccurate.
Your review is erratic and inconsistent, presenting events out of order and making accusations that contradict how the system is actually built. You’re also misrepresenting the role of individuals who voluntarily assisted you as a courtesy, beyond their responsibility, during a volatile market period. This kind of behavior shows a lack of respect for the good faith efforts made to help you.
To be clear: the bot functioned exactly as designed. Your losses were a result of extreme market conditions and your broker’s own leverage and margin policies—not a failure of our system.
But as it stands, your review doesn’t reflect the truth and appears driven more by frustration than fact.

Nothing they said was true
Nothing they said was true. I couldn't get them to refund me as they promised. Still in a credit card dispute. Lost way more than the 12% they claim is the "limit."
Below, they claim my warrantee period had passed. What they don't say is that the product had lost a lot of money in the trial period, and they extended the warrantee and promised the product would earn the money back and that it was just a market irregularity. All that happened was 1) the product lost more money, and 2) they reneged on their promise to refund my money after an extended period.
Why would I lie? I'm just trying to save trusting people like myself from being taken advantage of. If there had been ONE review like this when I was considering their services, I would have known better.
Response from Metatrading.aiNov 18, 2024
Hi Matt,
First, our trading bot is designed with a transparent risk management protocol, which is communicated openly to all clients before onboarding. On a moderate/aggressive risk setup, we outline that a 12-16% drawdown can occur within 12 years of historical expectations, as part of targeting long-term monthly returns of 6-8% or more. This aligns with how Forex markets operate.
It’s worth noting that during July and August, when much of the industry suffered catastrophic losses of -70% to -100%, our trading bot maintained industry-leading risk management. Most of our client accounts experienced only a -3.9% drawdown during this period. This is a testament to the bot's robust strategy and ability to protect capital in volatile conditions.
We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy for most clients. However, in your case, this period had passed. While we aim to accommodate clients whenever possible, we also need to adhere to the policies that ensure fairness across the board.
Ultimately, your concerns appear rooted in market conditions rather than the bot’s performance, which has consistently delivered stability and resilience compared to alternatives.

Scam!!
Scam!!! Its amazing how trust pilot which supposed to be an independent agency cover the tracts for its clients. This kind of behavior is discussing and therefore Trust pilot should not be trusted.
I have been in conversation with Meta trading AI over the past week and they promised to contact me and resolve my issue interns of a refund, to date no follow thru from them.
People, Meta trading AI is NOT the company that is going to help you build wealth, because they don't have the competence. That means they are a scam?
Response from Metatrading.aiOct 8, 2024
Dear Obed,
I appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns, and I want to address them thoroughly and transparently.
Firstly, Trustpilot is an independent platform that maintains high standards of integrity for its reviews. We take all feedback seriously and use it to improve our services, but it’s important to clarify the facts when there are inaccuracies or misunderstandings.
Regarding your request for a refund, our records show that your guarantee period expired over six months ago. Our guarantee clearly states a specific 30 day window for refunds, which is communicated during the onboarding process and outlined in your agreement with us. Unfortunately, we cannot honor requests that fall outside this period. Additionally, you returned from vacation two months after our agreed timeline, which further delayed any opportunity for resolving concerns during the active guarantee period.
MetaTrading.ai has consistently delivered reliable performance across accounts, prioritizing capital protection and steady growth. Over the past 12 years, our trading strategies collected vast amounts of data and we constantly refine our approach to minimize risk and maximize returns for our clients.
We understand your frustration, but accusing our company of being a scam is not only inaccurate but also dismissive of the genuine support and success we have provided to thousands of satisfied clients. We remain committed to upholding our transparent and professional service, ensuring that all clients benefit from our established strategies.
We’re here to help resolve issues where possible, within the limits of our policies. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
MetaTrading.ai Support Team

I’m not making money and just getting a bunch of nonsense
Thanks for your response, many changes? I’ve never changed anything, only ask for results, you said 1% to 6% for part of the year and 16% some months, I have not had one month of income, no up months. I’ve seen the last 12 years however clearly history is not repeating itself. I’ve had minimal contact with your staff. My reviews have produced immediate response , meanwhile I’m making nothing with the meta traderaibot…. Zero activity, please explain that, no more double talk and blame, why is there nothing, not 1%… nothing… let’s please answer that !
Response from Metatrading.aiSep 25, 2024
Hello Ted,
I understand your frustration, and I want to address this clearly.
To clarify, the "changes" we referred to were specific requests to modify the risk/lot sizings of your trades, which deviated from the original strategy we recommended. Our algorithm is designed for consistent, long-term results, but making adjustments driven by impatience can negatively impact those returns.
As we’ve highlighted before, the trading algorithm works best when left untouched. Historical data, which you've seen, supports this approach. Last year alone, we averaged 9.75% monthly returns—this included slow months of 1-3%, occasional losses, and larger gains when market conditions aligned. This year's performance is on track to reflect similar long-term success, and patience is key in allowing the strategy to perform as expected.
The market ebbs and flows, and like any serious investment strategy, there are times when growth will seem slow. This isn’t failure; it’s part of the process. We stand by our system, which has a proven track record over 12 years of consistent results.
If you have any lingering questions or need a deeper review of your specific account, we’re happy to assist. Please keep in mind that results take time, and we encourage you to stay the course to see the full potential of the algorithm.

Bots went from up 14k to -30k (4/4/2025)
April 4 - all 3 currency pairs dropped like rocks after Trump's announcement and the bots kept buying and losing, buying and losing. Lost most of the capital. Volatility filter doesn't do anything. Experiment has failed.

Original review:
I am not going to give this company only 1 star, because Justin has tried to answer all my questions (I'm an engineer at heart and want to understand all the ins and outs of the configuration) and if he couldn't, he got a quant involved (Aaron villegas - the bot designer). So that's been nice to be able to talk more in depth with the designer.
I have been running their bots since beginning of May 2024. They told me during the initial conversations that the bot runs on 15m, 5m or 1m timeframe and you can go with shorter timeframes if you want to be more aggressive. So I started using the Metabot on 15m and it wasn't doing anything so I switched it to 5m and it had a 10% drawdown but then quickly made it back. I let it run the full 21 days as required but decided I wanted the refund and do something else with my $15k fee. But Justin said because I changed the setting myself I had self-sabotaged my account and they denied my refund. He said that the 15m/5m/1m was just an analogy and the configuration was supposed to be done elsewhere.
So lesson learned, don't touch anything during the trial period. I don't know if they'd still find another reason to deny your refund since there's no online member forum where I can talk to the supposed other 2500 clients.
Since that time, Justin and I have had in depth conversations about how to setup the bot(s) to be more aggressive. I agreed that I was OK with having larger drawdowns but I wanted to force it to use larger lot sizes on a 50K account. My thinking is if the bots have a good strategy then it shouldn't matter if it's using larger lot sizes, the strategy should generate larger returns.
I started with a 50k single account but then I split it between 2 accounts evenly (lookup metahugs1 and metahugs2 on fxblue).
During most of June and July they were making very tiny gains, like the accounts were up maybe 1.7% total. Then they had a couple days of winning and got up maybe 3.5% combined. But then they lost those gains and I'm back underwater. It's like they're ok at winning small and good at losing big. When the currency pairs stay in a tight range bouncing around they do ok but if it starts trending for a while up or down they keep betting on a mean reversion and lose big. And with the 3 pairs highly correlated (2 out of the 3 share the same country - AUDCAD, AUDNZD, NZDCAD) then anything that country does affects 2/3 of the pairs similarly. I wish they would trade 3 completely unrelated pairs!
They have a few different bots to offer. Metabot, neurobot, metamax, neuromax, and smooth sailing. I was told that the max versions are martingale strategy. The smooth sailing bot has been doing okay so far (metahugs1).
I am glad that they haven't blown up my accounts like some other companies bots have done to others (quantum bots Kong, Nurp fed bot).
But in short, be careful - don't touch your account during the trial so that you won't jeopardize your refund-ability. I'm interested in hearing others' experience since there is no online member forum like others have stated. Feel free to text me at 804 five 9 oww six 276 and share your experience, and follow along on my FXblue accounts, metahugs1 and metahugs2. I have a hard time believing these other 5* reviews talking about major gains are legit, given my experience.
Response from Metatrading.aiAug 26, 2024
Hello David,
This is Justin. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences. It's clear that you're deeply invested in understanding how our bots work, and I respect that.
However, I do need to clarify a few points. The drawdown you experienced wasn't due to the algorithm itself, but rather to the manual adjustments you made based on the PDF handbook we provided. While we encourage clients to learn and understand the system, it's crucial to follow our recommended settings, especially during the 21-day trial period. This initial period is meant to incubate the algorithm in a controlled environment to allow it to operate as designed. When changes are made, particularly without consulting our team, it can lead to disruptions in performance, as we saw in your case.
Tinkering with various aspects of the VPS and altering bot settings, especially early on, resets the algorithm's learning period. This disrupts the long-term strategy we've developed, which is designed to deliver consistent results over time. When the bot is allowed to run uninterrupted, it can adapt to market conditions and execute its strategy effectively. Constant changes, however, prevent it from building the necessary data history and stability.
Regarding the currency pairs we trade—AUDCAD, AUDNZD, and NZDCAD—we focus on these because we've collected the most data on them over many years. This data is key to our strategy, and it provides the bot with a significant edge. Algorithms that don't have this level of data and expertise might trade any chart available, but they lack the precision and attunement to pair-specific indicators that our system has. This is why we stick to these pairs; they're not just random choices but the result of years of analysis and optimization.
I do understand your concerns about the refund. However, it wouldn't be fair to process a return when the bot's performance was impacted by changes that weren't in line with our guidelines. The terms we set for the trial period are there to protect both the integrity of the system and the experience for all our clients.
Aaron and myself are still here to help you optimize your setup going forward, and I’m confident that with the right approach, you can see the results you're looking for. If you have any further questions or want to dive deeper into the strategy, feel free to reach out.
Best,
Justin

Started with 50K Three months ago
Started with 50K Three months ago. There was very little action the first two weeks so I started asking for a refund. After week Three, still stagnant, so I began demanding a refund before my 30 day trial period was up. We I was denied a refund but by 6 weeks started making a little money. Now the bot is sick and just lost 17K on one set of trades. Now I'm really furious about being denied a refund. Had they honored their 30 day satisfaction guarantee, I wouldn't be out 30K.
Response from Metatrading.aiJul 29, 2024
Hi Lisa and Mark Baker,
Mark met with his dedicated account manager on April 18th. During these calls, we typically guide clients through the process of funding their trading accounts and setting the desired risk profile. Mark was a pleasure to work with in the first few weeks, and we initially set his risk profile to our recommended strategy, resulting in a profitable account with an over 80% trade win rate.
In the subsequent months, Mark requested to see more activity on the charts and larger lot sizes. While we understand the desire for increased activity, it’s important to note that our algorithm only takes trades when it has a high probability of winning and altering the algorithm’s settings can lead to unnecessary risk. Our team advised against these changes, as they deviate from our recommended strategy designed to protect capital and ensure steady returns.
By opting for more activity and larger trade lot sizes, Mark accepted to see higher drawdowns and volatility. Despite our clear warnings about the potential risks, the changes were implemented.
http://MetaTrading.ai has consistently delivered a real edge in the market, achieving 7-15% monthly returns with one of the lowest drawdown percentages in the industry. Drawdowns are an inherent part of trading and our recommended strategy aims to minimize them.
The conclusion of this matter is simple: this investor could not stomach what he asked for. Which was a larger lot sizing, risk profile, and inherent drawdowns. If Mark stuck with our recommendations and was not greedy, then the account would be in good standing. But of course, our advice was ultimately overlooked.
