Beautiful posters, but very disappointing experiences
The quality of the posters is great – they look fantastic on the wall. However, my overall experience was very frustrating. Delivery took a long time, and for a while I had no tracking at all. The customer service did provide some information, but it was still stressful not knowing where my package was. When the posters finally arrived, the packaging was poor. The corners were well protected, but the flat surface wasn’t – one of my posters arrived dented because the box had been punctured. After a long back and forth, I did get a replacement, but I had to pay extra, even though it wasn’t my fault. Hanging the posters is simple, but the adhesive alone is unreliable. One picture fell off and got damaged, so I used nails with the magnets. Even then, months later another magnet came off of the poster and the poster fell again, leaving an even bigger dent. We bought 5 large posters for €80–90 each, and with the additional costs for the replacement, it’s just not worth the money. As much as we love how they look, the problems with shipping, packaging, and durability mean I wouldn’t buy from Metaleks again.
