I have been Merrell costumer since since 5 years ago. This summer I bought myself a pair of Merrell shoes. My daughter gave me for my birthday on May another pair of hiking shoes, well both pair of shoes got broken and ripped pretty much at the same time. I was so frustrated knowing that the quality of Merrell products have dropped that much to the point of NO BUYING MERRELL AGAIN. That will be hard to spend again money in a Merrell product we trusted that much but it is not longer the product we used to buy. Very bad Merrell, your quality now is very bad.

Thermo Rogue boots were great but sadly only lasted 9 months - rubber toe started to lift and boot started leaking - pay £130 for a pair of boots and you expect them to last a bit longer. Merrell's customer service is terrible and their warranty is only honoured if you buy directly from Merrell. A company that has sadly gone downhill.

63 yrs old male. I used to purchase Merrell for years and years. Unfortunately their shoes have changed over the last 5 or so years. Not as comfortable as they used to be and sizing is erratic. In search of a new shoe supplier. Bummed!

For many years I have worn Merrill encore shoes in many varieties. I have worn them everywhere and in many countries. I still have some that are more than 15 years old. In the past two years the band around the top of the shoe has been made like cheaper shoes. The inside of the band wears out in a couple of months as it is thin fabric. These shoes need to return to quality. I am writing this after speaking to some other FORMER Merrill wearers. We have had to find new brands.

I have always used Merrell shoes and boots for years. I now question if i will do so in the future. I purchased a pair of Moab 2 Mid GoreTex boots on the 17th July and a week later they arrived. After less than 2 weeks of walking the dog over grass the left hand boot started to leak. I emailed Merrell with images of the wet socks and boot and received no response so rang the help number. I have now been asked to supply further images of the boots! The boots are clearly not fit for purpose (they leak) and should automatically be replaced. I even paid full price for the boots from the Merrell website. Sorry Merrell but your customer service is lacking and I really expect this matter to be resolved quickly. Expensive boots that are useless.

Now on my second pair of Merrell walking boots, which I use only for walking the dog around our neighborhood a few miles a week, and the occasional hike. Just like the last ones, after not even two years these are coming away at the seams on both feet. Two years might seem like plenty of time, but these are not cheap boots. I will be staying away from this brand in future.

Die Schuhe wurden schnell geliefert. Leider habe ich sie eine Nummer zu klein bestellt und deshalb retouniert. Die Schuhe wurden mir nach einer Neubestellung in der richtigen Größe zugeschickt. Seit über 3 Wochen warte ich nun darauf, dass die Retoure der zu kleinen Schuhe gutgeschrieben wird. Telefonisch oder oer E-Mail ist der Kundenservice jedoch nicht erreichbar.

I bought a pair of Moab Merrel walking shoes from Go Outdoors circa May 2018 After 18 months the sole began to detach. I contacted Go outdoors but had no receipt and they had just been taken over and no computer records. They suggested I contacted Merrel who despite no receipt accepted the shoes were faulty and issued a credit goodwill gesture for £125 Good on them so far. The credit had to be used on the website . I replaced the shoes with another pair of Moab2 in Ocltober 2019. After a year of lockdowns and little usage the boots lacing eyelet detached the other shoe is going same way, the sole is beginning to separate and the lining felt damp which is either the Goretex lining failing or leaking in through sole. This time I had online emails. After sending photos all Merrel would offer is a 20% reduction off full price so on the £130 Moab shoes I would still have to pay £104 for a pair which failed again. The bottom line for Merrell shoes is 2 pair failed in 3 years and Merrel think that is OK . they are claiming the latter pair was a goodwill gesture and refuse to replace them again. They fail to appreciate breach of contract is 6 years not 1 year. Goods have to be satisfactory quality. Also having to deface shoes and remove them out of circulation for the credit note was a contract as was the using of the credit note on a new pair shoes. This is breach of contract as the shoes are not of satisfactory quality. They are under a legal duty to repair or replace. No response yet to my 14day letter before action. today at 3pm merrel accepted we had a contract & offered a credit of £130 to buy a new pair of shoes on their website. It still had the goodwill gesture quote which is not legally correct but that is a fiction I can live with. I’ll upgrade it one star but should not have the hassle
