Very dangerous on wet terrain!Beware! The Merrell crosslander3 shoes are a hazard the moment the ground is wet. I understand they are marketed for "dry climates," but there is absolutely no warning that they are extremely slippery when wet. And I mean extremely, it’s like walking on ice. I had a serious fall that resulted in injuries to my elbow and knee. It is unacceptable for a hiking brand not to include a visible warning about this risk. If you are looking for something safe for all types of climate conditions, do not buy this model. Merrell needs to be much more transparent for the sake of user safety. I am incredibly disappointed.

I bought shoes from Merrell online. The first day I wore them they were good. The second day We had had a shower of rain and I walked along the path I always walk and slipped over and was very lucky not to have broken something. When I stood up I had to take the shoes off and walk home barefoot ,they were so dangerous and slippy. I contacted Merrell and sent them all the photos of the shoes as requested. They are still like new. and asked for a refund. They have then asked for a video to show me slipping over in the shoes. I asked them were they serious. This is terrible customer service.

Very poor quality, toe rubber splitting on both shoes after 14 months of very light use. Merrell used to be so good ?, I won't buy again and looking at the reviews no one else should!

My boots are dangerous. They look good and are comfortable but I was walking and the lace from one boot got caught in the lace hook on the other boot and they tripped me up really bad. I’m young and I have really hurt both feet, knees and hands. If I was older this could have been terrible

I would give zero stars if I could.absolutely awful customer service. They don't exist. I honestly thought merrell were a good brand but how wrong.

Mijn ervaring met Merrell is werkelijk schandalig. In oktober 2025 heb ik schoenen besteld (€90,-), die ik netjes binnen de termijn heb geretourneerd. Volgens de tracking is het pakket op 4 november 2025 door Merrell ontvangen. Sindsdien is het een administratieve puinhoop. De feiten: • Onverklaarbare terugbetaling: Merrell heeft slechts €15,- teruggestort in plaats van de volledige €90,-. Waar die overige €75,- is gebleven? Geen idee, want Merrell reageert nergens op. • Klantenservice onbereikbaar: Ik heb herhaaldelijk geprobeerd contact op te nemen, maar ik krijg op geen enkele manier gehoor. Ze "geven simpelweg niet thuis". • Gezeur met Klarna: Omdat Merrell de retour niet correct verwerkt, sta ik continu in contact met de klantenservice van Klarna om aanmaningen te voorkomen voor een product dat ik niet eens meer heb. Klarna heeft inmiddels (weer) een onderzoek gestart omdat Merrell weigert mee te werken. We zijn inmiddels in februari 2026. Vier maanden later heb ik nog steeds mijn geld niet terug en kost deze bestelling me bakken met energie. Mijn advies: Koop hier niets. Zodra er iets retour moet, ben je je geld kwijt en word je volledig aan je lot overgelaten. Schandelijk gedrag voor zo’n groot merk.

Slechtste wandelschoenen ooit! Verkopen schoenen de waterdicht zouden zijn maar zijn dit allesbehalve! Koopt dit merk beter nooit! Leg een beetje geld bij en koop lowa of meindl!!
