Bought hiking boots just before lockdown. Extremely comfortable but the uppers started cracking almost immediately. Now the soles show almost no wear but there are cracks in the fabric on both sides of both feet, the worse being at the bend of the big toe. They now let in water even when it rains, walking through dewy grass or a shallow puddle. This happened on a previous pair of Merrell trail running shoes I had. Replaced once but new ones had exactly same problem. Despite comfort, will not buy Merrell products again as clearly a design flaw.

I have worn Merrell zero drop trainers for 4-5 years now. I also haves couple of pairs of Merrell light walking boots. I was very happy with my first pairs of these trainers and shoes - I still have a pair of trail glove version 2s. Recently, the quality of the Merrell range is appalling. Trainers are now made with extremely poor mesh uppers which flex when running and rapidly fall to bits. My trail glove version 4s fell to bits after 120 miles road running. Trail glove version 5s I have two pairs, one of which is falling to bits (again around the poor side mesh) after 200 miles. A pair of Bare Access trainers I brought for light gym use had holes in the side mesh after three visits to the gym. The vapour glove range I have worn for track training, gone very quickly. I’m disgusted at the recent build quality of these shoes. A really good brand, now absolute rubbish. Trainers made in China and Vietnam, with costs further reduced recently through cheaper materials. I will never buy another pair of these again.

I bought a pair of sneakers at Eastern Mountain Sports in Conway , NH on Labor day. I have been wearing them for work and there is already a hole in one shoe. I can't believe it. I have had Dollar store shoes last at least a year. I'm disappointed

Boots split after 3 walks Totally unusable No customer service..sent photos

I recently purchased a pair of Vapour Barefoot running trainers from Merrell. However they have already started to disintegrate after a few wears. Not what I was expecting from Merrell very disappointed in the quality of their recent products. Overpriced and poorly made!

I found some merrell running shoes which look amazing and I am sure they are just that but they start at a size 4. I am 3 to a 3.5. Why can't you make smaller running shoes for ladies? After all we all come in different shapes and sizes. That includes our feet.

I bought the expensive gore tex boots .I've owned them for 3 months and they have split near the toes already .

Bought a pair of expensive Merrell Hiking Boots. They were uncomfortable at first then once I wore them in they were ok. THEN - I slipped down a small hill while hiking and broke 3 bones in my ankle. Hang on.... aren't hiking boots supposed to STOP you from slipping on a simple hill, not muddy just dry? Won't be buying this brand again!
