If I could give zero stars, I would. Returns and refunds are the worst, returned shoes on 12/4 through FedEx (their label), then called to find out where they were as there was no expected delivery... was assured they had processed my refund, still waiting. Took 2 seconds for them to TAKE my money. Make sure you read the shoe description all the way including fine print or you might get men’s shoes! Terrible experience!

I hardly ever write negative reviews but I am so frustrated with the exceptional poor service of Merrell. I ordered my granddaughter a pair of sneakers on 11/18/20. Merrell emailed that they were shipped on 11/19/20. The FedEx tracking indicated they were out for delivery on 11/28/20. When they still didn't show up 5 days later, I called FedEx who researched it and said the package was lost and to report it to Merrell to get a refund. I called and a very rude CS rep said she would do her own reseach and call me later that day. That was over a week ago and no phone call. I called again, and no response. I then filed a dispute with Paypal and it's now been 6 days and Merrell has not responded to Paypal's case. Terrible company with terrible customer service. These shoes were not cheap and I have yet to get the shoes or a refund.

I spent over $300 on 3 Pairs of shoes. Only one was the right size. They charged me $5 to return the two that did not fit even though they sent me the wrong size.

merrell gortex boots do not keep out the water or the sand. The sand gets under the inner sole and forms a lump so the shoes become useless This has happened 3 times and Merrell say they are not designed for walking in sand! but they also let in water! Obviously the Gortex does not fit properly. What a shame. Are you checking your supplier Merrell?

It saddens me to write this, as I have been a long-term lover of Merrell shoes, however their quality in recent times has gone to hell. The last two pairs of shoes I purchased began to fall apart within three months of gentle use. I would no longer recommend buying Merrell products at any price. But if you do ensure you keep your receipt and be ready to make a warranty claim (Merrell offer a 12 month warranty in the UK). You will have to work at this as Merrell Customer Service does not respond to emails and their online webforms come up with a server error when submitting them. However, somewhat surprisingly, they do answer their customer service phone number (at least in the UK). I'm still awaiting an outcome to my warranty claim so I can't guarantee this will be successful.

Ordered a pair of hiking boots. One came in a bit wider than the other. Not a matched pair. Sent them back and was not refunded sales tax or my return shipping cost ($5.00) Spoke with customer service and was told they will "review the issue" and follow up with an email. This is unacceptable. The problem should be corrected on the spot. They have the boots and still some of my money. There are a lot of sporting goods companies out there. I highly suggest when looking for a hassle free transaction should consider anyone other than Merrell.com.

I’ve worn nothing but Merrell’s for 10 years. I ordered my yearly pair of work boots in 9.5 as always. When I got them, they felt a bit tight- but I figured after they break in they’d come around. I wore them for a week, and my toes are getting crushed with every step. I called and tried to see if I could exchange them for a 10.0. Nope! If they’ve been worn, they won’t replace them. I’m so pissed off that I spent $155 and they’re useless! I’m not a serial returner. I can’t remember the last time I asked to return, or exchange anything. Buyer beware that this “happy, feel good, eco-warrior company doesn’t really care about your repeat business. Never again!

Comfy but poor quality. Loved them and then the rubber on the toe peeled off after a few wears and now they leak water in. I've only worn them a handful of times. They also need to be more transparent about their supply chain.
