Merrell winter moccasins used to be great and my first 2 pairs lasted for years (until the soles wore through). My last pair had the leather upper become unglued from the sole in multiple spots and the pull-up strap in back of one shoe tear off after only 3 months. Merrell "customer support" was dismissive. No more Merrells for me.

Second time Merrel are late sending out shoes. I ordered them more than a week a go and as yet they haven't been processed / posted. (As stated on your delivery link). I ordered them after the website stated they would arrive within 3 - 6 working days. Merrel again your shoes maybe good, but your service stinks.

Ordered 2 pairs of winter boots from the website and the mens pair seemed used as the sole had wear marks. And the womens pair the lase was broken on one of the boots. Very dissatisfied with the quality. Returning everything.

Bought Merrell Accentor Sport Gore-tex shoes 12 months ago and within a month or so the material inside one of the heels started to come away slightly. This didn’t affect the look or performance of the shoe but not what you expect for £125 shoe. What did affect the performance was after 12 months of standard use the left shoe is no longer waterproof and just walking through wet grass leaves my left foot wet. Not worth the money.

I have found that Merrell shoe sizing, even within a particular model, is all over the place, i.e. no consistency. I bought a pair of jade/granite MQM 3 GTX, UK size 6.5. I quite like these shoes and wanted to buy a second pair in a different colour. The charcoal/orchid ones that I bought, again size 6.5, are considerably smaller and unwearable. What's going on?? Size 7 in the same model is at least 1cm longer! Honestly, 1cm between half sizes?! I have had a similar problem with Merrell Moab FST2 shoes, where I buy a pair that fits but when I get a backup pair (supposedly the same size), they are much smaller. I am seriously not impressed!

I bought my MOAB shoes last August as my wife had used Merrel and found them to be very solid and comfortable. But after only limited use and the first time out in constant light rain they leaked. I shall go back to my trusted SCARPA Cyrus as have had two pairs over several years and never let me down

Accentor Hiking Shoes. Liked : Very Comfortable, look great, good grip. Customer service good comunication. Disliked: Not waterproof for long. 30 minutes in wet grass and they were soaked inside. Fabric started to peel/crack after a couple of years moderate use. They do not liked dried mud apparently, if left to dry will cause the upper to deteriorate and breakdown. I have always cleaned my hiking boots and shoes after every use. So for the price and the fact that Hiking Shoes should be able to deal with mud, I have given 1 Star plus 1 for communication.
