Bought a pair of Merrell slip on shoes of the same style I have been buying for a couple decades. I have bought them for comfort and use them around the house as house slippers. I was shocked at the cheap quality. Definitely not the shoe I am used to buying from Merrill. The soles are like hard plastic as opposed to soft rubber. Never buying from Merrill again.

Comfortable to start with but realised after getting sore feet on inspection the insoles are very cheap and basic with no cushioning support whatsoever !! Won’t be buying again

3rd pair of merrell intercept walking shoe very light wear and every pair has has split in the same place would not recommend. G.E P.

Retourenabwicklung miserabel !!!!

I managed to place an order by mistake when my phone screen started malfunctioning as I was checking the shipping cost of a pair of shoes. I emailed them immediately and called them as soon as they opened the next morning and BEFORE THEY HAD EVEN DESPATCHED THE SHOES. And they refused to cancel the order because "it's impossible to cancel an order once it's in the system". You're supposed to have a right, by law, to cancel from the moment you place the order. Now they're going to send a pair of shoes anyway, from the Netherlands to the UK (and back again when I return them), despite knowing in advance that the order is cancelled, and make me wait until all that is over before I get a refund. Although judging from the other reviews I'll be unlikely to get a refund even if I do reject or return the delivery. Yet another online business treating people like dirt. I assume the foreign fulfilment warehouse is some sort of tax-dodge too. Very scabby.

I bought a pair of Skyhike Merrell shoes for £65 (normally £100). I have worn them for a total of 8 times, on woodland paths and tarmac, and they are already falling apart. The fabric around the ankle has split on both shoes. I have tried contacting Merrell's customer support via email, but have had no reply. This is a bad joke and I'm frankly furious that a £65 pair of shoes have fallen apart after no more than 15 hours of walking. Unless Merrell replies to my email (it's been 4 days since I sent it), I'll have to go via my bank to try and get the money back. Absolutely pathetic from a brand I used to trust.

Warning - if you are in the UK think twice about ordering from the Merrell UK website. The shoes are sent from the Netherlands and returns are a complete pain. I sent shoes back with all the relevant documents for customs (check their website rather for details instead of email as they differ). Parcel has just been returned to me via UPS stating "service disruption". Merrell customer service are useless.
