I've loved Merrell shoes for years buying walking shoes & boots. However I had to return the Merrell Vego & Siren boots because I found them to be substandard. The returns process has also descended into a farce. I'd have been better served driving to Holland to return them rather than posting them back via the UK. Not a good experience & sadly I won't be buying Merrell again.
I Y.
Just so utterly disappointed with the merrell shoes I bought and with the customer service when I tried to return them. Making returns simple, communicating with customers when your returns system fails, these are just basic for a large brand like Merrell. I was going to change my shoes for another style, but I am not buying merrell again.

I don’t know if anyone else has had a problem with the women’s walking boots, but I bought a pair about 3/4 years ago and hardly been worn. I love the boots and they were so comfy but the stitching has come undone. Not something I would expect of such a well known make and expensive pair of boots. I think my timberland boots which were worn a lot more are still in good condition. I took them back to Cotswolds but they only have a year cover and I then spoke to merrell direct who advised I should fill in a default form and send it to them. She said they probably wouldn’t do anything as they again were more than a year old. Very shocked they only expect the boots to last a year. When the last two covid years I really haven’t been anywhere to wear them. I have filled in a form but I haven’t heard anything from them not the service I would expect. If anyone wants a pair of walking boots to last longer than a year please don’t buy Merrell. Not good customer service Such a sad ending to a lovely comfortable boot ☹️

I have worn the older style Moab shoes for many years, but had to buy the new style Moab 2 shoes since the originals are no longer made. These shoes for the same size are one inch shorter and one half inch more narrow than the old style Moabs. They are so uncomfortable and made with such poor quality that I am donating these to a charity and will buy another brand shoe. Merrell would not refund my money so my relationship with them is gone.

Crap quality (and expensive!) shoes and the company refuses to stand by their products. After only about five months the soles have worn to almost nothing and are already starting to crack and separate from the upper. Other parts of the shoes are also beginning to fray and fall apart. People used to rave about Merrells as the go-to outdoor shoe brand, but I will never buy another pair. Don't waste your money.

Like a few reviewers here, I've owned Merrell previously (the absolute classic Kahuna sandal). Indeed I've had them, for many years and have been impressed by their style, comfort and durability. That led me to buying some Accentor walking shoes. Now. whilst that was three years ago, they've rarely been out of the box as I've managed to eke more life out of the trainers I already had. That changed this year with the first really heavy use with a trip to Iceland - and the shoes pretty much fell apart! OK, I exaggerate slightly for effect but they did split on both sides at the join of the upper and sole with the inevitable letting in of water. I've had a go at superguling them and hopefully it will do the trick but I really shouldn't have to. The fact is, with a genuine equivalent of about three months wear, this £100 + pair of shoes simply hasn't been fit for purpose.
