Bought Merrell Womens Moab 2 Mid GTX walking boots from Outdoor Clothing due to them being advertised as "exceptional breathability and waterproof performance" which is simply not the case. 10 minutes of drizzle and my feet were wet for the following 2 hour walk. They have mesh above the toes which lets every drop of moisture in. Bought these in October last year and 2nd time worn today. Huge disappointment and waste of money. Unless walking in completely dry conditions, buy something else!

Hallo zusammen, ich habe auch leider sieben Tage nach meiner Bestellung nichts gehört. In dem tollen Status auf der Seite steht Bestellung fehlgeschlagen (was auch immer das heißen soll) Über das Kontaktformular bekomme ich nach dem absenden meiner Nachfrage nur eine Fehlermeldung und sonst passiert nichts. Eine Email oder Anruf ist leider nicht möglich?! Sieht mir alle nach Betrug aus, vielleicht passiert ja noch was, dann ändere ich den Text gerne.

I can't believe I paid over £100 for these from a shop in the Lake District Ambleside to be precise all I wanted them to be was a waterproof even just walking through some wet grass my feet get sucked yes admittedly they are a comfortable shoe but not when your feet are soaking wet. Very disappointing ☹

I bought a pair of merrell shoes 5 or 6 years ago. ( I've owned several pairs over the years). I wear them a few times a year and they look brand new. I wore them the other day on a three mile hike and the rubber like material on the heel just disintergrated. I took them to the store I bought them from and they suggested I call customer service and that they would probably replace them because they have had a lot of issues with that material and don't use it anymore. I called customer service with no help only for them to tell me that they are warranted for one year. I filed a product defect form and they offered me a 30 percent off coupon. There was a 25 percent off sale going on at the time. I own shoes that I wear often that are 20 years old plus. I have a pair of rocky boots that I wear often during the winter that I bought in the mid ninties. There was obviously an inferior material used on these shoes that the company should but decided they didn't have to stand behind.

I've worn Merrell's for 20 odd years and I have to say these might be the last pair I ever buy. My new(ish) Merrell boots gave me plantar fasciitis while walking around Barcelona on a work trip. Then the sole peeled off and I had to find glue to repair them as they were the only shoes I'd brought. Meanwhile, the seams on my trainers have split badly so they're in the bin. So sad as I didn't wear any other shoe brand as the quality was so reliable, now they just feel uncomfy and cheap.

Non existent customer services. Sent emails / messenger etc. No acknowledgment or replies.

Have a pair of mens Merrell - contintinumm, polartec/waterproof hiking boots. Used them once this winter on a short five mile hike. The front toe area of the boots cracked in several places, exposing the white insulation. Very disappointed and don’t recommend.
