Boots fell apart after minimal use. The boot came off the sole on the same place on both shoes (clearly some kind of design/manufacturing issue) meaning they lost waterproofing and are now useless. Merrell would not repair or replace as they are over a year old. Clearly they don't expect their products to have any longevity.

Had a pair of Merrell walking shoes for 8 years no problem until soles went so bought another pair after one year the rubber on the side of the right foot came away,bought a different style of Merrells and again rubber came away on right shoe .Will not be buying Merrell again .

Intentional Data Dishonesty, Despite Excellent Shoes It is not ANY industry's best practice to both fail to include an "unsubscribe" button from unrequested marketing emails, but worse still to *force* people to create an account on the site JUST to unsubscribe from marketing emails never asked for to begin with. In fact, Merrell is intentionally, obviously and willfulling in violation of 15 U.S.C. 7704(a)(3)(B) and (a)(4) to provide a "one step" unsubscribe method. The very first time you get an unsubscribe link is in the "Welcome" email that lands after forced account creation, which is specifically noted as an illegal method. This is not stupidity or an oversight. I've been in IT ops for two decades; I'm not guessing. Managers/execs at Merrell chose this intentionally dishonest approach and thought it wouldn't make them look bad. It's clear that the way the "user experience steps" are laid out, straightforward dishonesty is part of the design and 99% of businesses do NOT take this approach at information harvesting. Merrell's approach speaks volumes about their business philosophy and has nothing to do with making quality products. I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and the FCC. You should, too. I have a friend who loves his Merrell's so I bought a pair I love due to their wide-width sizing, but I'm "one and done" and won't buy any more. I'll keep buying my trusty Keen's and Salomon's. In five buys through 10 years, neither of those companies has yet been sneaky.

Awful customer service - been emailing them for 5days and absloutely no support or response

You shoes have lost there quality and comfort. I got a pair from a friend from 5 years ago. That she didn't like. I loved them so i wore them till the heal blow out 2 years. The ones I bought from you lasted 3 years . The ones I bought 2019 blew out the side 2020. The ones I bought this last Christmas they hurt my feet!

Nach meiner Bestellung und Bezahlung erhielt ich eine Bestellbestätigung. Im neu eröffneten Kundenkonto wurden weitere 8 Bestellungen der selben Ware angezeigt. Eine Kontaktaufnahme mit der auf der Webseite aufgeführten E-Mail-Adresse funktionierte nicht. Auch gab es keine Möglichkeit, die Bestellungen zu zu widerrufen oder abzubrechen. Das scheint entweder totale Unfähigkeit der Websiten-Betreuer oder aber Betrug zu sein.

Always purchased merrells. Bought some Moab birthday edition boots caused right foot to pronate. Very poor customer service. Ended up giving one boot to my black lab and the other to my yellow one, as that is all they are good for. Scarpa next time for me.

Just bought Merrell Men's Mqm Flex 2 Gore-Tex Shoes. After 30 mins in the rain leaked like a sieve. 2hrs later and the entire upper, sides and sole inside are drenched. Haven't dried out in 24hrs. That's twice I have worn these and twice it's happened. Benefitnof doubt it could be faulty pair but to thr extemt these leak it is more like an own brsnd pu which has worn out. I really really like the comfort and there are so many good features. It's such a shame. I do search and rescue and really need some boots for latter part of winter. They're light as a feather and grippy. Shame about the issue as aside from that they're ace.
